I trying to bulk up bigtime. Are you trying to rip up?
yeah i'm trying to get cut and more defined and maintain and put on as much muscle i can in the process...my stats are under the thread "heyy newbie here". i currently just changed my routine to one body part a day (this has been my first week doing it like that). right now i'm feeling nice and sore all over :D i hope to keep at it just as strong as i am doing it now...(lol i felt good yesterday...this guy told me i looked really good at the gym yesterday...told me i was doing a good job keeping myself fit:p ) anyways i'm going to go take a spinning class in a few to set my energy for the day!!

[cuz when i look around i think this, this is good enough and i try to laugh at whatever life brings cuz when i look down i just miss all the good stuff when i look up i just trip over things]

Been lifting since March 2000 so a little over 2 years now. Got serious about my diet in August 2001. Started at 22% body fat in the beginning of August and last I checked, at the end of March, I was down to 15.8% same weight, keeping my lean mass the same, or at least within a few lbs. I had a few setbacks during that time where I went off my diet over the holidays and gained some fat back, ugg! Anyway, my goal is 12%. My ultimate, final goal, is to be at 12% body fat with 125 lbs of lean muscle, yeah baby yeah! ;)

Pushed my first leg press in 1981 on a Universal machine at the "Y". Anyone remember Nautilus machines when they first came out? Hired my first trainer (strength coach for the Seattle Mariners' spring training camp... or so he claimed) in 1989, been going strong ever since! Got competition serious 2 years ago.

Time to get cut... did it a couple times, but it never seems to stay  :D

About 10 years, and for no other reason than the ego aspect of being bigger than others. Not for football, not for health reasons... I dont like sports, and my health is actually (and this may sound strange) of secondary importance to me. I dont have a death wish, but Id rather live 60 years big than 100 small...

(btw, I have been accused of being insane, but I think everyone else is crazy!)

I've been training since October last year (2001), so only for 7 months now, but in those seven months, i have made unbelievable transformations. No one from high school recognizes me at all, and even my distant family members have to do a double take.

I think it's been 5 years now. Had a major setback last Aug-Nov when I went on Lupron as part of endometriosis treatment; that shit set me back almost to square one. Lost a lot of muscle and packed on a bunch of fat. The muscle's coming back, lifting poundages are back up to where they were and then some, but still packing WAY too much fat. I should visit this board more often to keep my motivation up and hopefully lean down a bit. Summer's coming, job should be getting easier, hopefully will be getting back on track. This is really a great place for that sort of support!

P.S. Is it weird for a woman to be doing this for the same reasons Monster is in it????? ;)

Been teaching aerobics for almost 4 years - & that's when I got serious about fitness in general. Never played sports much as a kid due to lousy depth perception & mediocre reflexes.

Lifting off & on for thsoe 4 years, but much more serious the past year. Wasn't untill about August or September that I finally decided I wanted to GET BIG & finally stopped worrying about being "too bulky". That was one of the best things I ever did for myself.

I'm still not huge, but SOOO much happier about what I'm doing & happier / more comfortable with my body! :)
