Working chest and tri's together works best for me. My main reaon for this is because I like doing heavy dips which benefit both tri's and chest. Besides I like the pump from the chest tri workout, looks good in the mirror.

This thread is 8 years old, lol

i have a bicep, tricep, and side delt day. i keep the weight low enough to hit 10+ reps each time, with controled complete reps. and i superset everything. almost like a cardio/arm pump day.

mostly just for fun, but i dont train arms heavy because they get so much stimulus from my core lifts

I do them on the same day
bis -
barbell curls (wide grip)
EZ bar curls (close gtip)
Alternating dumbell curls
Hammer curls

tris-
Overhead tri extention
Skull crushers
cable tr extention
tri pushdown
reverse tri pulldown

for the first set i do a drop set then 2 normal sets

I usually do bi's & tri's same workout, because my other upper body days are chest/lats, and delts only. I don't do well trying to do tri's and chest, because of it being hard to impossible to isolate tri's out of anything that works the pecs.

we had a thread about this you should dig up not long ago.

for me since I do pulling and pushing splits different days naturally I work out bi's and tri's different days.

there are plenty of people who work them both the same workout though.. just depends on what kind of splits you put together or some people do cross training or circuit training and hit a bunch of muscle groups the same time.

so there is not right or wrong answer.. just depends on your strategy.

I rarely do it anymore because of recurring elbow pain. But when I did it was an awesome pump. My biceps were at their biggest and strongest. Getting old stinks.

I always did bi/back and delts/tri/chest but now I'll try to do tri/bi on one day and the rest on others. I defiantly think it's worth trying, and what works for you may not work for others.

I have done bis and tris on same day with great success ..only thing is pick one that u wanna work harder and do that one first or switch it up do a bi workout then a tri workout ..your arms get burnt quick
