The answer is the same as with all important questions in life:

"Depends"

on how much you know already... if you are just starting out, by all means, go get it and read it cover to cover... it is well worth it in that scenario.

If you are a seasoned amateur, if is a very good "all the info in one place" book.

It covers all the important things:

1. Motivation (why are you doing this to yourself... there are millions of wrong reasons for pursuing a better body)
2. Nutrition: VERY detailed explanation on fats, carbs, proteins, etc.
3. Cardio: how much, when and why...
4. Weight Training: briefly explained and example programs, but enough references to point you in the correct direction.

I read the book before starting... my results are here:

Obviously, it DID help me a lot

Peace and enjoy

Then you are correct, pintoca. It 'depends.'

I still read it from time to time regarding several of his topics. It is roughly 300+ pages and it covers many topics. Even if you have moderate knowledge of nutrition/exercise, it'll be worth it, IMO.

right on guys, thanks for the in put, i'll be ordering my copy tonight. i can get a hard copy of that from his sight right. it's not just e-books is it.
