Today's the day...

Stromba fed me pizza for dinner....yummmmy stuff! Then I dozed off. Nothing like pizza and naps to get the old belly growing, huh? LOL

Thanks again for the kind thoughts coming from everyone. All of this positive energy's gotta be helping! :rainbow:

Lobo...I just posted a progress pictures thread about a week or so ago. It's gonna be a while before I have any new progress to post besides the boobs. By this time next year I should be having a tummy tuck done.

Ranger, my breastfeeding days are over...you had your chance and blew it! And right now no one's getting their hands on these boobies, even I'm afraid to touch them! Yeowwwwch!

Puddles...I'm glad to hear that everything went well for you! :) Yummmmy...pizza is good, but I can't have it! Eat some for me, girl! :)

You are a trooper for having that 4 hour surgery and still managing to get on good ol' Elite to let us all know how you are doing! :)

Mrs. Puddles, glad to hear things went well !!! Hope that pizza is making you feel better and you enjoyed having it. You will be up in no time and all of this will be ancient history :D Have a good nap and have some wonderful dreams. Oh yeah Stromba is going to be having a good deal of fun very soon lol. Be safe ;)

So, MrsPuddles, Congrats:beer: I would also say take progress pics for you to see on a weekly basis just how much they change.
If you went submuscular they will start out very high and slowly move their way down. It is amazing the difference from week one to week ten the way they will change, for the better of course.
Are you using ice on them for the swelling? If so, just a little info that might help you. Get a bag of sweet peas, put in gallon ziploc bags and freeze, this works great and you can keep refreezing them as you need. The peas move around to mold the contour of your breast perfect.

Good luck

Thanks for the suggestions, love! Right before we left for the hospital yesterday I had hubby take a couple of pictures without a top on to remind me why I had this done just in case I'm not as pleased as I hope to be. But so far, I think I'm happy! :rainbow:

Yes, I went under the muscle, mainly so future mamograms will not be a problem. I got round, smooth, high profile implants (they're less wide than regular ones of the same size and will sit higher under the muscle), but I'm not sure what size the doc went with. He ordered two pairs and one was a 400cc, not sure what the other was, and right before surgery yesterday he asked me that if he's got a choice, should he go larger or smaller...I opted for larger. LOL Since I had a lift done as well, I won't be able to take off the bandages to see what my boobs actually look like. Tomorrow I go to the doc and he'll change the dressing so I'll get a better idea then. The pain is tollerable as long as the pain meds are working, but when it started to wear off last night I could feel the stitches hurting so I'm doing my best not to let that happen again. LOL

The surgery took longer than expected...it went over the 4 hrs. I'll find out what went on tomorrow, but the nurse said he had to go back to make some adjustments...not sure what that means, but I'm thinking he had to do something to my right breast because that one is hurting considerably more than the left and there seems to be more swelling on that side. I'm hurting more today than I was yesterday...I figure that's because the anestesia is out of my system.

I've been up and walking around a lot but not lifting anything. I can't stand being confined to bed and sitting up at the computer is more comfortable...when I get tired, I head back to bed. Hubby's home with me for the most part, and he's been an angel doing all the little things I can't do for myself. Even opening the top to a water bottle is tough. I feel like such a baby! Hun, can you scratch my back, can you brush my hair, etc. LOL Right now he's out taking my daughter to school and buying some vitamin E for me. Then when he gets home he's gonna confiscate the computer and get some work done, I hope to sleep!

I remember when I had my boobs done the pain was SO INTENSE that I actually regretted having it done (unlike the tumy tuck which was also VERY PAINFUL but I guess the IMMEDIATE flat stomach made it all worthwhile LOL)....

That is until I went shopping a few days after surgery.

HEhehehehehehehheee

The pain will subside I promise, The only thing I found that stayed awhile was the muscle spasms. OUCH. I would wake up with the feeling of charlie horses in my boobs lol. But it was all worth it like bikinimom said espically when your up and shopping for tops.... Keep us updated, and rest rest rest you'll need it for all the shopping you will want to do as soon as the bandages are gone:D

I'm retaining a ton of water...I'm swollen from head to toe, litterally. Is this normal? I would bet I'm at least 10 lbs heavier today than I was yesterday morning. My stomach's all distended too...hubby's at the store now picking up something to help me move my bowels. I've been walking around a lot and drinking water, but the only thing I could fit in my stomach today was a piece of toast and part of a packaged fruit cup. I'm feeling very full and it's nearly 1:00pm. Grrrrrrrrrrr!
