Well I criticized the once a week typical bodybuilding split and the lack of conditioning it's part of it, you may question it but some of the best bodybuilders come from powerlifting (Ronnie Coleman, Johnny Jackson, Victor Martinez oh and in case someone was wondering so did Arnold). All to say that by working on your GPP you too can enjoy working the same muscle more than just once a week and grow even more, don't restrain yourself and keep an open mind as I do on working out barefoot squats
