To Become a PRO BODYBUILDER?????????????????

How much gear would be required?

And what could it do to me in the long run? Possibly i dont need to take as much as some poeple? I grow fairly quickly. Iv been liftin on n off for 5 years now. In my first serious year liftin this year, i went from 155 to 185 naturally. And that is without workin legs for the first 7months(beginner mistake). Luckily i have pretty good legs to start with and they grow fairly quickly. Just hope this progress keeps up. I didnt even start taking protein until my 4th month.

Growth genetics sounds pretty good right? Now i gotta hope for the shape and symmetry part. Only thing i can think of off the top of my head is i have wide ass shoulders and im 5'8.

Why would you want to go pro anyway? The money is just not there....Just noticed your the same age as me except im 230 pounds been lifting for about 3 years all naturall, and only in the last 3 months I started working the legs so I should be heavier.

You must be out of your mind. You don't need all that shit to compete. Its about genetics not drugs. That is like saying anyone that juices can compete and thats definitly not true. I see guys who juice all the time and are really big but shaped like shit. You can't posibly believe that all the pros take shit like you say. [/B][/QUOTE]

I never said that genetics wasn't a factor. I compete in strongman. If I didn't work, slept a lot, had free equipment, and took every drug known to man...I still might not make it to the World's Strongest Man contest...much less winning it. Genetics play a role...but he must be willing to take the gear to get there...

I know you haft to take gear but not to the extreme that you said.

ou must be out of your mind. B fold is right Do know what the average pro spends on growth hormone? $30,000 a year that is more then my car cost me. DO you think Ronnie Coleman is natural? Or Jay Cutler is all natural? Where do you get you info? You need to put down Flex and Muscle and Fitness. Pick up a better body building rag like Muscluar Devlopment. If you belive the top pros are not jucied out of the minds I have this little piece of real estate to sell you in Florida. Or how about a brige in New York. You need to come out of you little fairy world and open your eyes. I do belive it takes very rare genitcs to turn pro and tons of hard work and dedication. But most of them would never get to their size without STERIODS GH INSULIN. Pelase tell me this Lee Preist is how tall and he weights how much? Have you heard of a thing called genitc potential? If you think that they are clean because they passed thier drug test yea right they just know how to get around it or they are never tested. Oh yea do you think HHH in the WWE is natural? If he is then I am Santa FUCKING Claus and the Easter Bunny to.

the things you know the pros don't use that much of is what i am referring to.

any of the things u know so much about. i know a few state/national level bb's who have had to dip into their 401 k's and such. they are nowhere near pro and may not be without the added drugs. but leads me to believe most people at a high level in this sport are on a tremedous amount of drugs. there may be exceptions, but i would think not many. i know bfold knows quite a few high level athletes and prob has a very good idea of their supplement programs.

He just might and there probably is a lot of them on high doses of gear but if you need to do things like that to be a pro then why even bother is what I think.

I appreciate the responses

What would it be like if Ronnie Coleman, Jay Cutler and the rest of the bunch had listen to this stuff thoughl. Im sure they were tried to be talked out of it. They had the love of doing it, and the dedication and drive to do it though. Along with the genetics. These guys dont struggle for a living like u might think. They are all sponsored, payed to do articles, adds, guest posings, seminars, not to mention sometimes pickin up money for placing in compititions. Most of their suppliments, airfair, and stuff like that is payed for by their sponsors. Id say top 10 guys at the Olympia are living pretty damn comfortable. Im not settin my heart on this, but im not ruling it out yet either. I havent done it long enough to know. Im doin a show nov. 9th (my first one) in the teen division. Its normal, but im natural, so im sure il b up against some juice heads. If i do well, il go from there. We'll have to c.
