C cytrix New member Sep 1, 2001 #1 does anybody know, how long you can stay on a tkd, before your metabolism will start to slow down, due to a downregulation of the thyroid gland? i know this is probably not an issue on a ckd, because of the carb-ups, but what about a tkd??
