This Is Really Stupid

People do all kinds of stupid herbal crap. I always wonder why instead of taking FDA approved and tested products like cholesterol lowerers (zocor) and antidepressants, they'll take Fat-lower herbs and st. john's wort. So not even a legality question, they "want to be natural -- it's safe." As if taking unknown mixtures of untested herbs concocted by a high-school drop-out scammer is safer than a laboratory grade pharmaceutical made by the best and brightest chemists and pharmacologists in the world and tested on tens of thousands of people for safety and efficacy before it ever comes to market . . .

ok, i'll take a breath and go chill :)

I always get a kick out of people saying "I think that creatine is helping me a bit". If you only "think" it's helping then odds are it's not doing a damn bit of good. If these people ever expienced a real juice cycle they would be laughing at all these supplements as well.

i disagree, and i think many others will agree

creatine works, some people it doesnt. just like everything else

Daddy X my man I do not believe that they should restrict prohormones or eph. I believe that the tight asses in washington should remove steroids from the scheduled lists. We need freedom to choose not more restrictions. I'm sure that you feel this way as well.

It is a federal crime to take hormones to improve appearence and in many cases health. Yet you can get your dick whacked off and take hormones to become a women. Both men and women can get implants where ever they choose in their body. You can get your bodyfat melted and sucked from you. This is all blessed by god and country, well country anyhow. Ashcroft is God, or so he thinks.

We were all young and ignorant once, they are just reading the muscle mag crap and buying whatever to try and get big. They do not know any better and besides most are probably too young for AAS anyhow, they just need to learn how to eat and train. Remember ignorance can be fixed, stupid is forever.
I dont think nelsons big hangup is so much the ignorance of using prohormones as it is the hipocracy of not wanting to use drugs.

I don't know what the Hell you're talking about. But, you go right ahead and take a bunch of, um, 'FDA approved drugs.' Cause we all know the FDA's mission is to protect the health of the consumer, and not to line the pockets of the doctors. Ie, steroids, make them illegal, and then perscribe them to anyone who wants them except for those looking to improve their physique(this is already happening again w/ ephedrine and andro... not that I think the andro is worth a shit). If you're a woman and you want to grow a dick, hey, it's a prescription, but if you're a man wanting to improve his health and physique, it's 5 years in the state pen. You go ahead and take you're FDA 'pharmaceuticals,' I'll stick to Vitamin C and Olive Leaf and zinc. Not to mention, there's been so many FDA approved killer drugs over the past 100 years, I don't even know where to start.

It is illegal to posess any prescription drug without a prescription, including nolvadex. And, yeah, Zyg is right. Don't get all high and mighty that you aren't using "drugs" and then use other drugs.

Also, I'm all for civil liberties and don't believe that any drug use should be a criminal offense, HOWEVER (and this is something my buddy Rick Collins and I often debate), that doesn't mean that potentially harmful sustances should be legal and available. Citing the fact that there are other potentially harmful products is not an answer. Two wrongs don't make a right.

At the same time, I don't trust the FDA. They may want to ban everything, then the next thing you know, Avena Sativa cost $100 a bottle availble through Pzeiser or Organon.

Maybe, but I've never talked to a single prohormone user who gave a flying crap about whether he was using drugs or not.

I have, however, confirmed that just about EVERY prohormone user I have talked to uses them because of: #1. Difficulty obtaining steroids, #2. The illegality of obtaining steroids, or #3. Misconception regarding effect/side effects of prohormones vs. steroids.

This may be true in doctrine, but think of it this way. You get pulled over and for whatever reason you are found to be subject to a search.

Would you rather be in possession of:
A. A bottle of nolva tabs?
B. A bottle of d-bol tabs?

Given nolva as the only violation found, I'd wager that the cop would toss the nolva back in the car and let you on your way 99 times out of 100. Replace that with the bol and I'll wager you'll be in cuffs.
