This Is Really Stupid

Hard Knock my apoligies for being harsh. I believe you that what you say was in the newspaper. But never the less, I think that the media and doctors likely overhyped the entire issue. I complimemt you on explaining the questions that I asked in a very civil manner.

Well, I have been hypogonadal for 4 years, and believe me, I was an aggressive, irritable s.o.a.b., but after giving myself HRT (and higher dosages), I feel peaceful again.

I have been hypogonadal for more than eight years and on HRT for between six to seven years. What I have clearly noticed is that when my testosterone is low, I can be quite aggressive and irritable. When I am on HRT (or even very high levels of androgens), I am also at peace and very easy going just like I always was when I had normal levels of my own.

What is interesting is that I read an article recapping a study of hypogonadl men about a year ago that stated that there were a significant number of hypogonadal men that showed signs of aggression with low testosterone levels and which completely resolved (the aggression that is) when put on testosterone.

I often wonder if it is not actually the estrogen that causes "rage." Estrogen is very high in some guys that cycle but in some others, dht predominates. Only some guys get "rage" on roids but most don't. I know by virtue of blood tests that even on a heavy duty cycle, my estradiol levels are only in the high end of normal and I don't get any type of rage or aggression even at very high levels like a gram of test per week stacked with other AAS. It is obvious that I tend to go more towards dht as I have never had any propensity for gyno at any levels and have never used any anti-e's to date. The only thing that made me feel my levels of irritability climb is fina which tends to raise progesterone levels (another female hormone).

And studies have shown that most "road rage" is likely to occur with women driving SUV's because they feel safe and that allows the "real them" to come out. And everyone knows that if you want a home defense/guard dog, you get a female because they are incredibly territorial. I even had a breeder of Akitas tell me once that she like the male Akitas because when they grew up they were still just big puppies, just like guys. She went on to say that she didn't like the females because.....well that's why they call them b*tches (she said it not me). And think about what happens every month with women when the estrogen levels are flowing high. I rest my case. It is estrogen (and other female hormones) that causes rage not testosterone. And I KNOW the feminists do NOT want to hear this. I am now prepared to get flamed!

That's an excellent theory. I'm not sure how accurate it is, but it's an interesting perspective. No need to post studies. I like the logic.

I never thought of that, but hey! That has to be the smartest way to see things. karma! I'll send you grey karma, but I would love to send you green K. Maybe the next time I'll hit your name.

Hmmm... that is pretty interesting... I'd love to see a study or something on this though... That'd be good reading...

The bit on estrogen makes sense. I think it's very active in mood swings.

Also i watched a show on TLC a while ago about sex changes and all the hormonal aspects, anyway they were doing a series of interviews with a woman undergoing androgen (test) theraphy as part of her pre-op. well during the interwiew some months later she said this is the first time she feels at peace and is clear headed and able to focus. An MRI also confirmed that different parts of her brain were activated and so forth.

The moral? test is a calming drug. I always feel vere serene on it. Off cycle with higher estrogen i get irritable real quick.

Talk to your average middle american about steroids, marijuana, or abortion and "feel the love and knowledge" coming out of them like a big black hole.

Down with the education system......

And I LOVE the bitch theory, cause we ALL know how evil bitches are....
