Monday: Sit ups on the Decline 5 sets of 20
Tues: Rest
Wens: Leg rasies 5 sets of 20
Thurs: Sit ups 5 sets of 20
Friday: Side bends/twists 5 sets of 20

Sidebends oblique training for that matter isn't need for a 6pack.

There nothing wrong with training obliques. IT depends the look your going for and then you could be just training them for functional strength not size.

No need to hit abs every day either. There just like other muscles. Hit em hard and weighted for lower reps and let them rest.

Reason being that theres so many methods to ab training is because generally speaking no ones trying to just make them massive blocks. Highreps and often repping won't aid in tone except for the fact that it burns more calories. Much easier just to hit up more cardio and tighten up the diet.

I train my abs heavy three times a week. I usually do about 3 sets of 10 or so...nothing to bad. I can tell a huge difference in my ab strength, too. Are you trying to achieve thick abs, cut abs, or both?

im trying for thicker/bigger abs..later on then i may start to cut
so would a 20 rep range be suitable?

If you are set on doing 20 reps...then go as heavy as possible....but if not...go heavier with fewer reps. Just like you would with any other weights. :) That should help you achieve thicker and stronger abs in no time.
