OTC thermogenics DO NOT have T3 in them. There is not ONE thermo that has T3 in it. T3 is a totaly separate medication. Unless she was ALSO taking T3 (a separate pill), there is no way her thermo had T3 in it.

I had ordered Thyroslim AM/PM from MHP a while back before ephedra was banned and on the label it says it has 350 mg of a Thyrogenic T-3 Complex. Is this something different?

It's a marketing buzz word.

T-3 Complex is not T-3 the thyroid medication.

T-3 for the product you are referring to is Guggulsterone extract of Commiphora Mukul, Atlantic Kelp, Bladderwrack kelp and sargassi seaweed.

You can't walk into a store such as GNC or the Vitamin Shoppe and pick up some "T-3". It's a medication that should be dosed and administered with medical supervison as was the medication you said your mother's doctor gave to her.

It is more likely that her symptoms had been grossly over looked for a period of time and it is an easy way out for a patient or doctor to blame a thermo for the problem.

When you abuse you body for long periods of time there will be a price to pay. One can't diet (starve the body) for years and expect your metabolism to keep up with such abuse. You metabolism is like a fire, starve it and it will go out, feed it and it will become stronger.

Why don't you get your mom on here so she can pick up a few cues and not torture her body with crash dieting.
