The NFL scouting combines are about to start. Id say running backs carnell williams and ronnie brown fromm Auburn will be top 10 picks in the draft. Not many big name QBs will be in the draft this year.
 
Who do you think was the best/more succesfull sportman in 2004 ?

Maurice Clarett had slow times at the NFL combine and quit the rest of the drills.

I dont think he has much of chance in playing in the NFL.
 
He clocked 4.72 seconds and 4.82 seconds in the 40 yard dash. Their was 4 offensive line men who were clocked faster than five seconds.

whoa just found out i got 3 tickets ( 3 game series 1 ticket for each game) to the cardinals - d ray series in june, $250 face value each ticket, never seen a ticket even remotely close to that much in price, includes all the food and drink you want. fuck yesssssssss

whoa just found out i got 3 tickets ( 3 game series 1 ticket for each game) to the cardinals - d ray series in june, $250 face value each ticket, never seen a ticket even remotely close to that much in price, includes all the food and drink you want. fuck yesssssssss

Lets see, at first she was claiming that it was not about the money and no civil suit would be filed but she didn't take the (criminal) case all the way. Then she files a civil suit, not in Colorado where the incident happend because they have something like $700k settlement limit, but in Orange County California, where there are no limits. Hmmmmmmm.

Now, I'm sure Kobe ain't a squeeky clean guy, he probably has some things that he'd rather not have come out in public, so he'd rather pay 3-4 mil and keep whatever bit of his "good" image that he may have left. I would really, really, really question that rape accusation though.

I think he's a smarmy little twerp that sees himself as being above the fray. Did he rape her? We'll never know but at the very least he's cheated on his wife more than once and deserves to pay through his ass. Especially for cheating on HER. His wife is hot :)

yeah we play a different kind of fantasy golf, mine is grouped into brackets a, b, and c
you can only use a guy 10x a year
in the a bracket(start 1) i got tiger and goosen
goosen is -2 thru 9 today(starting) tiger is -3 thru 11
my b bracket(you start 2 in this bracket) i got verplank, allenby, dimarco, and leonard
starting verplank and allenby, they play this afternoon
c bracket(start 1) i got toms and parry
i was thisclose to playing parry today but i didnt:(

I think I've seen that one. Mine is just informal among friends although we play for money. We each pick 4 guys in each tournament and the guy that wins the most money wins the week. We also keep a running tally of total money for the year.

its yahoo fantasy golf, you should try it next year, too late now you would be too far behind, this is the 5th tourney of the year they started at the arizona tourney that phil won, i got klu playing this year, she had olazabal and frazier (-8, -7) on the bench yesterday, ouch, she was cussing, she is really klueles with golf

yeah - they keep referring to it as a mini-major, which its turning out to be. both Phil and Tiger looked sick yesterday.
 
PS - how fucking terrible is NBA basketball??? I just can't watch it, especially when college games are on and are so much friggin better.
 
I don't know how many of you live in NY or listen to the local Yankees games on radio, but it's by far my favorite thing to do during the season. I will turn mute the TV and listen on the radio. We have been lucky the last few years to have some good radio guys. Steiner left for LA this year (SoreArms you asshole!) and was replaced by a woman! Now it's bad enough that she is a woman, but she is also the most annoying woman in sports. Her voice, her lisp, her way of talking - terrible. I am bummed.

Steiner replaced Ross Porter, who was really loved by the fans and was basically dicked by the new Dodgers management, so unfortunately for Steiner, he's going to have to measure up to Porters caliber for us to embrace him.

I have listened to one Spring training game on radio so far. His style doesn't seem to fit in with what we (the L.A. fans) are used to in Dodgers sports casters. He leaves too much dead air in between plays and pitches (He swings and misses..................................Here comes the wind up.........................................the pitch is outside......................................). All the Dodgers announcers fill up dead air with stories and weird, unimportant but witty facts about the players, the teams or whatever, a la Vin Scully. He also can't pronounces "Izturis", he says "Itzdturis", to die hard Dodger fan like me it is very frustrating to hear him pronounce it like that 15-20 times per game. You think he'd have worked on some of these guys names over the offseason. Rick Monday, Stu Nahan, Ross Porter and Vin Scully are cracker ass crackers and they can pronounce the name just fine.

We're stuck with him though, so hopefully he grows into the Dodgers style of broadcasting or we get used to his, or both.

Great tournament. Tiger shoots 63-66 on the weekend to blow by him. Phil seemed pretty deflated. He should take some positives out of it though, he didn't fold when Tiger went crazy and eagled 12.

mike and mike (ESPN radio in NY/CT) this morning brought up a great point about how bummed Phil seemed - a year or 2 ago he would have been smiling and saying how happy he was to be in second - very satisfied and content. now it seems like he is so much more confident and motivated to be the best.

He definitely shouldn't hang his head. In the past, when Woods made an eagle like he did on 12, Phil would have folded like a cheap suit but he came right back.

I loved how Tiger was blowing it by Phil on every hole. Phil was bragging last year about hitting it by Tiger. I think he took that a little personally ;)

He outdrove him on every single hole, sometimes by 30 or 40 yards.

did you see Tiger's swing on the hole where he drove the green (I think it was 15 or something, like a 320yard hole). INSANE
