The Shocking Truth About What The Pros Use

Here you go. Proof that some guys simply respond well to steroids and takes massive dosages. But...in the end...it isn't bodybuilding.

Compare this to the guys from the 60's and 70's who took minute amounts. They still looked good 20 years later.

Something to keep in mind when you're impressed by somebody's progress using excessive amounts.

I know a few who have used massive doses, or even loads of juice and other supps, and they look like average guys...
Most guys lose motivation when they are not supplementing, and feel the need to be on something all the time, Steroids, then pct, then sarms, then steroids, over and over.

I know whats possible naturally, because of where I am physically, I can take a month off from training and lose very little strength definition or size.
If my clients or friends do, they look half the size when they start training, most of muscle mass that's perceived when on a cycle is just muscle cells swelling up, and hoarding glycogen.
It appears like good quality muscle, but when they come off they look flat, or fat..

Nice post Nelson. I have noticed the increased amount of people using larger and larger doses, and either looking ill, or just bloated.
Very few look like rick, or yourself.

I've seen pictures of Arnold then and now and you would never know he was a world class bodybuilder.

You are exactly right. There is a "false" appearance of increased muscle mass on cycle because of excessive intracellular water and glycogen storage giving a fuller look.
It is physiologically impossible to achieve the same look when at 1x hormone levels vs 10+ times normal levels

BTW...thank you for the compliment. Much appreciated brother :)

Most of those are photo shopped to hell, so I wouldnt call it "proof" but yes bodybuilders aren't going to look the same when they come off. Common sense.

Mmm, it's more than just not looking the same. It's drastic -- god-like to average.

Compare that to guys like Scott and Draper and Zane who obviously don't look as sharp as when they are in peak condition, but even in their 50's they still looked great. Big difference wouldn't you say?

if any of us stopped working out and got lazy we would look like shit in a matter of months. but the beauty part is muscle memory is real and we would be able to come back..

But the point remains. They made amazing gains, but the muscle wasn't solid. And the gains came so easily they couldn't even manage a basic exercise protocol afterward.

I'd love to see pics of guys 6 months AFTER a cycle. THAT shows what they really have. Fuck, if you do a gram of gear a day, you can do jumping jacks for 5 minutes a day and have a good amount of muscle. lol

I agree that there were some drastic changes, but coming off of high levels of androgens were not the only thing that contributed to the transformation. I hardly believe any of them guys are maintaining their consistent training and strict diet that contributed a large part to their success. I'm sure a lot of them got burned out and became average by living an average lifestyle. Also keep in mind that these were not your average joes. These were guys miles beyond their genetic potential, so losing that is very easy without the diet, training, and of course the drugs.

Guys like Frank Zane still look great because they were never mass monsters like we have today. Hell, he won the Olympia at 185 and 5'9", so he is much closer to genetic potential. Then add in the fact that he still trains regularly and maintains a good diet and everything makes sense
