The problem with the death penalty

if there is a single person living on "death row" then it hasn't been used enough. pull 'em outta those cells and finish 'em off. any animal that cannot live within the socially acceptable norms of our society has no place here.

Hmm, there have been a lot of people on death row who have later been exonerated.

Kill everybody on death row right now and you'll kill a lot of innocent people as well.

the system is inherently flawed and its as simple as that. Breaking the law is a money making machine in the US and its ridiculous.

I havent decided whether I support the death penalty or not but it is certainly not working as a deterent. More laws does not mean more conscious law abiding citizens, it just creates more law breakers.

I dont like the idea that I support people on death row - support their prison housing etc. But if it were someone who got life it would be even more money to fund their incarceration.

That on the other hand is a horrible story. Maybe a Lex Talionis type deal would be good....bring in the porn industries finest and have them go at his ass till he's wrecked, I dont know.

There was this girl that worked in a convenient store when i was 24 in college i had a crush on, man ! She was a living doll ,great personality ( Sandra Allen) 3 black men abducted her from work took her to the woods raped her made her preform oral before they killed her & buried her in a shallow grave--it took 25 years before everyone finally got the chair!
I still get choked up thinking about it!

I still cannot get over how her parents let her work in a seedy part of town like that, the blacks hung around the store all day looked like they never bathed and drank.

They should have just turned them over to me and been done with it!

But you can still let them out, even after years of hard time. At least they will still be alive and they will be vindicated.

Dying guilty and being able to die proven innocent in the end is a huge difference.

RADAR, that does not add up.

This occured at least 25 years ago? No police department in the world preserved DNA samples 25 years ago.

Dude! They only recently did this, as the confessions gave them the death penalty, however lawyers kept battling over & over about how flawed the investigation was, loopholes,etc!
The DNA evidence finally convicted them without a doubt!
