That's exactly it. My best friend and I went out and she was asking me "Where is the old V?" I told him it really hurts me, that he doesn't really tell me that I'm pretty or anything so I feel like he isn't attracted at all. He says that he really is, but damn, show me.
It's hard to not start shutting down emotionally and begin to check out of the relationship because you either have to live with disappointment or shut off the part of yourself that needs to be close in that way. I think if everyone talks about it though then it can be fixed. I think most couples go through these sorts of things at some point at different times. As long as he doesn't make you feel like a freak, or make you feel like there is something wrong with YOU for asking for what you need...I doubt you're a prude...I do imagine that sometimes men can start to think sex is boring because she won't give a bj or won't do this or that, so over time they don't care about messing with it because it's the same thing; boring and not worth it...No man has ever told me that, but I can imagine that happening, but something tells me that's prob not happening with you
