Need some advice on how to burn that last 10lbs or so of fat. I have been cutting successfully for about 2 months and kept a consistent 1-2lb loss per week. I have been following a basic low calorie diet approx 600-800 under maintence per day (after subtracting cardio cals burned) Ratio is approx 50/30/20 (protein/Fat/Carb), give or take but fairly consistent.
I have been training for all of my adult life and have a very solid muscle base with pretty good size. I'm 6'2, and currently weighing in at 228....goal is 215, where I'll be very cut up...not sure what my body fat is at the moment but I"d guess 10-12% based on what I see in the mirror
Anyways, seem to be hitting the wall here with about 10 to go for my goal. Any advice on how to change things up would be appreciated. I have been reading about IF and carb cycling but I"m not sure what route to take. The IF seems like it might be a good option but I"m curious to any other ideas that might be out there!
