I don't know how much of this you guys have read into, but look up the design of this fucker. Deep underground and hundreds of dregees below zero it's kept. After the very first test something went wrong and they had to bring it all back up to normal temperature to fix it. The process of bringing back up to temperature safely to protect the equipment took months. That's crazy nutz

The chamber that the smashing takes place in is some thick as all can be concrete and steel reinforced somethinganother... If you read thier comments, they talk about how they didn't know how thick to make it since they didn't know what would happen, if anything. lol, talk about a gamble!
