That new Star Trek movie sucked butthole

I MUCH preferred the TNG cast. Pickard was an immensely better character and immeasurably more believable as a captain of a starship flagship.

Picard was a namby-pamby wuss compared to Kirk! If it wasn't for his being flanked by real men (Worf, Riker), Picard would have tried to deal with Cardassians and the Borg by inviting them to debate over a hot cup of Earl Grey.

You have lost a lot in this thread RW. I totally don't even know where to start. So Scotty being buried in tribbles, knocking himself out after saying "I know this ship like the back of my hand", and countless other comedic sequences aren't silly and overplayed? And even as much as I loved James Doohan(we have the same birthday and I have his autograph) at least Simon Pegg could do a real Scottish accent. Alright I'm going to stop now before I reveal just how huge a fucking nerd I really am.

It couldn't have been nearly as ridiculous as Transformers 2, and I never liked Star Trek. There were a couple hotties on the show but other than that the show holds my interest less than cutting my toenails. The Star Wars movies aren't much better. I thought the forest chase scene in (I think) Return of the Jedi was pretty cool though when I was a young tike.
