Test & HGH Cycle, am I taking enough?

toxicswan

New member
Recently started (with medical supervision) a "hormone replacement therapy" which consists of:

200mg Test prop weekly for 10 weeks. Then 2 weeks off/Repeat

1.8 IU of HGH ED for 5 days, then 2 days off, for 24 weeks

Went to a reccommended specialist who I wont name. Should I be taking more? My goals are lean quality muscle and I am 39 years old.

doses like that sound geared towards hitting the upper range of accepted, normally occurring (or at least observed) plasma test concentrations. if youre in the hands of a specialist, your blood values are going to be fairly well scrutinised by him/her and to be truthful, i think taht te replies likely to be garnered on an internet forum are going to cause more harm than good - sinc anything you hear online is going to conflict and/or undermine your doctors instructions, and therefoer your therapeutic outcomes.

i go crazy when a patient comes in, i take all this time thinking about how to optimise their drug therapy, do an awesome job, then have them completely fubar everything up because of what their idiot work buddy said.

youve decided to go legit, hrt. wait till your values come back, then compare those to others achieved by patients in a similar predicament, and the results they got. if yorue still unhappy and want to 'tweak', youre electing to basically go the "roider dose" route.

your doc knows what theyre doing. (mostly. there are conflicting schools of thought.) DONT undermine what theyre doing based on advice in an anonymous forum. wait.

cheers

Seems okay bro. See what the results are. You are working with a doc, consider yourself lucky. You will not get huge but you will be consistent, keep your gains and not suffer crashes and all the nice shit that the rest of us smucks go through!

Thanks for the replies and excellent advise. GD, you are most likely correct in your suggested approach. Reading all the stuff on EF I was just about to go out and buy a huge cycle to add to my "prescription"-probably not the best idea since I have no medical training and not much more AS experience. Stryker, you are also correct, the problem for me is how much it is going to cost to do much more than a 6 month partnership with a doc. I also have not been completely honest about my goals. I wasnt sure if it was cool to say that I wanted to bodybuild since I went to clinic that deals with hormone replacement therapy/aging. Any thoughts on that?

Yah, fuck the doc and find a source in the U.S. Use your regular GP to monitor blood profiles, bp, and health. That is what I do!

Probably what I will end up doing. Its just too expensive. But this first one I feel better having someone watching me closely. Do you tell your GP exactly what youre up to? What does he think about it? Also looked at British Dragon products are they any good? (Just doing research for the future! For now I will stick with my doc's plan.)

You do not give any stats of yourself so it is hard, but 2iu/day should be sufficient, however I would run the hgh for more then 24 weeks to get optimum benefits from it

I did and my doc was/is cool about it. He gave me an obligatory lecture and that was it. BD is good shit.
