Next time read your own sig before dishing out comments like that. Definition of your signature = SPAM which makes every one of your posts......well, you get the idea.

Yup, those that live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. Nelson is the most blatant example of self-promotion there is on this site. No question about it.

Well, most everyone is already used to JA making a fool of himself --which I found increasing humorous for a while but now it's just annoying everyone. But since you may not know better, allow me to explain it to you.

First of all, my sig is put out by the EF site. That is not unsolicited promotion.

Secondly, when I post, it's in regard to the topic at hand. I have never come on the board to simply promote myself. Therein lies the difference.

SC,

I was thinking about trying the "7 days to leanness" because I am going to Cozumel in about a week. My only concern is how much I will baloon up on days 8-13 that I will be on my vacation, but off of my diet. I don't want to come into Cozumel looking really lean but swole up like a blowfish the 2nd or 3rd day of my vacation. Should I just skip the diet for now? Thanks for the help.

Can anyone answer this? Karma...

yo......

Okie, if you continue to use the diuretic aids listed, or those chosen by yourself, you should be fine. Additionally, what helps is that you watch the sodium intake for the few days after your peak look, if you can. Usually the combo of watching EXCESSIVE sodium and still using some "pissing" aids, lol, will help you to not balloon out.

I recently did this for pics, then went to Reno for a vacation. I ate, drank, and had a party each night, and surpisingly I was okay, no edema and I didn't turn into a blowfish. I know how much you'd hate for that to happen, so you simply ease back into "normal" life very slowly.

Remember, for the astonishing excessive GOOD LOOK you'll have on that one day, u do have to be strict, but you can look damn near just as good days later by abiding by the above suggestions. This is partly why competitors look so damn good the day or two after the show.......they get some water and sodium in them, not enough to "spill" over, and they look full, ripped, striated.

I hope this helps you and anyone else who tries it.

Thanks,
SC

Thanks a million SC...I have been following your diet plan to a "T" since Saturday(missed Friday because I didn't see the article until Friday). One thing I haven't figured out is where the rice cakes and honey fit in. I was guessing that it was during the carb up phase. I will post how it went later next week and I will may be buying your diet services later this Summer if you have room for another client. :)

I think you have dramatically simplified the protocol to looking you best.
Can you comment on my question regarding doing a short heavy workout on the day before photos? I just seem to look and feel bigger on the days following short and heavy workouts.
Thanks

......

cool Okie......hope it goes well for you. Yes, the honey and rice cakes are for the morning before the big event, as you get some fast acting carbs in there to work w/the slower acting ones you were consuming before.

Biggerthanu450, I usually refrain from working out a day (usually 3) before a show or photos, but that is because I'm not really focusing on normal adequate protein intake before these events, as it's carbs and the "pump" and fullness I want to have for the said events. (I worry about doing too much and not giving my muscles what they need to recover amino acid wise) You may appear/feel pumped and fuller because you performed some activity to "draw" in glycogen to the muscles and achieve a good amount of glycogen storage from the short heavy workouts. Some have the opposite result, and appear flat and stringy because the muscle is in "recovery" mode. I suspect your shorter/heavier protocol is better as you don't totally annhialate the muscle, but do just enough to have it "SUCK UP" and store the carbs/glycogen that you give it after your session.

If it does work for ya, then keep doing it. I'll experiment w/this next time on a leisurely shoot to see if I get the same result. Thanks for the insight my man.

SC,

OK...it's the day before my carb up phase and I'm really confused. You say to switch back and forth between chicken/sweet potatoes and just sweet potatoes. I weigh a little less than 200lbs so I would need almost 600g carbs each day. Sweet potatoes only contain about 27 carbs, so even if I eat 7 of them I am about 400 carbs short. How do I make that up or am I way off and it is only 600g carbs during the entire phase? That would be much easier to attain.

YO.....

check your mail bro, I explained it all to you in there per your e-mail inquiry.

Thanks!
