Sorry if this has been discussed before, I am new here! Whats everyones take on sushi? Good? Bad? I absolutely love salmon and tuna sushi but worry it might not be all that good?

good, make sure you go to reliable restaurant though. you always run the risk of bacteria which can make you ill...which of course would be detrimental to your gains. I personally feel it's worth the risk! good protein too.

Thanks god! I was worried about the excess carbs with the rice and since I have moved to vegas there are to many all u can eat sushi bars to pass up.

I really wish I had the time/know how to make it at home and I would. But Ive watched them make it for me and it seems tedious and I dont know.. lol

it is an artform
and for a chef i have watched and wondered at their technique and talent

did you know?
most sushi chef have apprenticed for at least 7 years before they are even allowed to touch fish fit for sushi?
they are taught the culture and the basics of the artform first

think about that next time you order any fish in a restaurant

as for store bought sushi, just be careful i would not buy any thing more than a day old
one the rice is dried out and two most use the wrong type of rice
should be short grain
not cheap white long grain rice
