sushi???

I never really thought about it til now so I'm gonna post this.

How does sushi fit in as a good/bad food. Sashimi should be alright cause it's basically raw fish/seafood. But overall is the stuff good or bad. I would imagine for bulking it would be a good food. Cutting it would likely be a bad thing.

Opinions???

I've been eating it a lot lately and the answer really lies in how much carbs you need or don't need when you are cutting.

:)

Mmmmmmmmmm
Sashimi

Drool

sushi = raw fish (good) + white rice (very high GI carbs = bad)

It also depends on the kind of sushi you eat.

There is this mouth-watering sushi, made with fried shrimp, which I only have on cheat days :)

you talking about shrimp tempura rolls!!! mmmmmmmmmmmmm good!

I heard they have BROWN RICE sushi in Cali.. makes me jealous.

So if you found Brown sushi rice then it would read:
sushi = raw fish (good) + brown rice (low GI carbs = OK)

Got'it :)

and don't forget rice vinegar and ginger

yep I think we had this discussion on another thread

white rice = brown rice as far as G.I.

however brown rice has 3-4 times as much fiber.
