supersetting at every workout?

I have had Mono for a few weeks so I'm not making it to the gym as much as I should. To help make up for this I've been supersetting 2 bodyparts at every workout. Chest/back, legs/shoulders, and bi's/tri's is the split I've been using. It's been really working well as far as maintaining and thats at going 2 times a week at best.

I am wondering how many of you do this on or off cycle, and if this could be implemented on cycle to hit each bp 2 times a week? I wouldn't try it off cycle, but on when you heal so much faster and not doing as much volume each bp also. Something like 6-9 sets per bp, so a total of 12-18?

I've pretty much always gone three on, one off. I like to try something new and if it allows me to gain more than before, even better.

I superset every workout, only I still rest between sets. I not only do it to save time but Poliquin has always said working antagonistic muscles alternately helps in recovery. Not sure if it's true but I always seem to get results this way, not to mention I'm out of the gym faster than if I just ran through my sets consecutively and I don't feel like I'm lolly gagging through my workout. If I rested 3-4 minutes between each set I'd be in the damn gym for 2 hours.

My simple workout schedule is:

Monday: Upper body (heavy barbell exercises)
Wednesday: Lower body
Friday: Upper body (dumbell/bodyweight exercises)

I find one day per week on legs is plenty for me, though I am genetically gifted in that area. I do switch up my exercises but always superset antagonistic muscle groups. It allows me 3-4 minute rests between each muscle group without actually wasting those 3-4 minutes sitting down. I basically wait 90 secs after each exercise before I start the superset.
