I've had great progress in a month on my cut diet. My lifts have gone up, and my BF is low enough now that I feel good about doing a bulk. Real quick:
TDEE (adjusted for BMR activity multiplier): ~3000 kcals
I really feel like I need to keep my cal intake around 3600 a day, but my body is strange and I could easily pack away 5000 cals a day with no problem. Last night I was like, "Screw it, I'm going for the win" and ate 3 large size Big Mac combos right before I went to bed, and this morning I felt awesome and I looked more shredded than ever, AND I was lifting 20-30 lbs more than last week. That makes no sense for 99% of people, but for me it happens that way.
I know you'll read that and think this has to be a joke/troll thread, but it's not. I used to do this kind of thing 3 years ago when I was in my best shape. I didn't do it often, maybe once a week or less, but the nights I would do it before a heavy lifting day (deads, squats, etc) it would help out a lot, and I never gained BF from it. I always remembered to do it right before bed too.
The strange thing is I'm not really an ectomorph. I can't maintain 5% BF unless I focus on it. My friend can handle 5% BF while eating 100,000 cals a day (seems like it anyway). I'm more of a mesomorph but I have the metabolism of an ectomorph. A good combination I suppose. I know I'm not the only one to do this because there's a vid of Jay Cutler doing the same thing.

Who else can get away with this without dying in their sleep?
