Starting to diet today bitches.

Some notes:

• Have had a half gallon of water in 3 hours.
• I'm hungry as hell.
• I have a bad headache.
• I gotta get some protein bars tonight.
• Also gotta get some caffeine. I think I'm low on ephedrine too.
• I'm gonna be chiseled steel bros.
• I love you.

are u going for a competition
 
Just say no to dieting.
 
I've been dieting for 3 weeks now. As usual, my metabolism has overcompensated and I'm having to up cals to almost 4000/day to regain some lost fullness. Damn I want a better metabolism :(

Nah, I'm way too small to compete. Just to look/feel better for spring and summer. And to put Shadow to shame. Him being fat and all.

this is key.....as you get leaner you should INCREASE cals.....



think of a radiator with insulationand without.....which gives off more heat??

hmm maybe thats been my issue,ive always started around 2500 and went down to like 1800cals by the end,then I would get worn out and stop

START cals at 12x bodyweight - NO cardio


when you plat. then add in 2 HIIT cardio sessions per week.


When you plat - add fat burners


When you plat - ADD in some cals
 
with all the fatties, this thread is pushing maximum density.

if gonelifting shows up, thing is going to collapse.

Welcome to Dieting World!! With some exceptions, I've been doing this since Jan 1st....
 
I'm starting to cut out some of the xtra calories now. Going to cut slowly this time instead of crash dieting in the middle of May. I can't afford to lose muscle I'm too small already. We shall see.

I think I'll start cutting after spring break. I can never manage to eat right when I'm staying with my parents.

Ive started back doing them......last Sun for the first time in over 2 years

I haven't tried 405 yet. Probably not going to. Don't really feel like it. lol

Diet will probably look like this:

7:00 Oatmeal + whey
10:00 Protein Bar
12:30 Beef, rice
3:00 Chicken
6:00 something before the gym. Not sure yet.
Post Workout: Shake
Before bed: Chicken

Had good results last time with this. Took in around 300g protein a day, about 100g carbs, around 30g fat.

I would make it a 40P/30C/30F............

Looks pretty good and similiar to what I eat now cept more food in each meal :)

For breakfast you ever think about adding some flax oil to your whey? Will slow digestion of the whey and also provide you with healthy fats. 30g of fats each day is hella low. If nothing else I would take flax a couple time per day.
 
My GOD I would die on that low calories! I started my diet at 185lbs, and had to up cals from 3200 to 3500, and now to almost 4000 most days to keep weight loss in check. Granted, tren tends to make me gain LBM whilst loosing fat, but damn, 4k cals of clean food gets old real fast! I want a different metabolism!

I cannot stand flax oil.

Maybe I can add some PB or something though. Now that I think about it, maybe it's more than 30g? I forget. I'll figure it our later. Haha.
 
Ya really can't taste a teaspoon or two mixed in with the whey, but that's up to you obviously. You could try the flax capsules. The fat from anpb isn't as good :)

shadow, bro, would you say that it's generally possible to switch cutting techniques when something stops working? i know you mention this, but i'm talking about switching from a not-very-optimal regime to something better.

in other words, if i'm not paying close attention to the details of my cutting, but stick to a religious restriction of calories (not too low) and lots of cardio and some supps like YES...will this make it difficult to switch up to something else optimal later on if i needed?
 
I agree with the fats being too low. Try some olive oil or some ground flax seeds if you don't like the flax oil.

How about an apple before your workout?

What I'm doing now is just eating clean and lowered my carbs a little. I'm not counting anything and going day by day until I can see what happens with the added stress that lifting gives my body. That alone should make changes and I'll go from there. I agree with shadow to do a little at a time and things will work out. Go in stages.

yes.


this is how I design a diet:

1 - REALLY tight diet with occasion cheat day once every 7-10 days

2 - then add a bit of cardio

3 - Cardio MAX of #3 per WEEK 20 minutes HIIT

4 - fat burners


....re-evaluate,........then is more likely a bump UP in cals as a leaner body will gibe off more radiant heat(cals) and a fatter one



...this always there to be a bullet left in the gun.....

start with a 40p/30c/30f diet on a 10-12 cal dailyintake and zero cardio......when fat loss stops then go to number 2...etc
