I agree. I've done quite a bit of board presses.
And i still cant really figure out exactly why they work so damn well. Say from regular rack/pin presses.
Maybe its because your still supporting all that weight on your chest even though its resting.
Seems like Louie said something like that.
Anyway they deffinitely work for strength and even size.
And i regulary rotate them in now. And if you hate flat benching i highly recommend trying them. They let you go heavy with less wear and tear on shoulders/rotators/pec tendons IMO.
