I could care less about arguing with you, winning or losing an argument, etc... I'm trying to gain insight into how you think. And maybe make you think about what you said. The sad thing is that fundamentally, I agree with what you are saying... I just think that it was quite uncalled for to actually wish that a soldier be captured and tortured when he actually faces that possibility. Quite clearly that is different (and much more horrid) than the possibility of him calling a nuclear strike on your house as he suggested.

For me, your argument deteriorated fast when you started getting into a pissing match (na-na-na-boo-boo) with people instead of sticking to what you were originally trying to say. But mostly, I'm just pissed that you would wish capture and torture on somebody. I think that in relation to what he said, it was way over the top.

I agree with the fact that we need to do everything in our power to resolve this matter. If Bin Laden is responsible, then kill him and every person that follows him. The US cannot afford to let this pass with no re-percussion. If they dont do anything, that is telling future terrorists that they can do whatever they want in our country. As for Burning Inside talking about one of the elite members getting caught, tortured, and punished....that is going a little far. To hope a US soldier gets that kind of treatment for serving his country and doing his job. I think you need to be in a war and find out exactly what our country has gone through so you could have the freedom to say shit like this on a computer. Everyones emotions are a little overwhelmed right now, but we dont need to be fighting with each other. The way I see it, the US has about a 85% chance for world domination (if it were to ever come to that). That means if we were to go to war with every other nation on this planet, we would most likely win. So, anyone stupid enough to make a direct attack on US soil deserves to be blown the fuck up. Yes, respect has a lot to do with it. We stick our neck on the line for so many other nations we can't even keep track. And someone has the gonads to pull a stint like this.
