Been off for awhile with injury but I feel better so here we go. Training never stopped, just adjusted for injuries.

Currently
57 years old
6’0” tall
200 lbs
3000 cal per day of good food.
Lean hard gainer.
Been about same size for past couple years and just can’t gain muscle size.
Not sure body fat but has to be in the higher teens.
I AM ON TRT for past 4 years or more.
I’ve been kinda bulking for past couple months ( not concerned about bf percent right now). Going to bulk during this cycle.

Fist 4 weeks
Test cyp 400mg per week split Mon- Thurs
Tren E 400 mg per week split Mon-thurs
GW 20mg daily
Rad 140 20 mg daily
Caber .25 per week. Adjust as needed
Arimidex .5 per injection
Tamoxifen also on hand

My normal TRT dose is about 300 per week. 200 doesn’t raise my level but maybe to 500.
Estrogen and prolactin are harder for me to control. I have a lump behind right nipple. Looks and feels like gyno. They say it’s not.
It will grow and hurt when estrogen or prolactin is high. Off cycle I can get levels back down and lump goes away.
this why I am trying caber this time.

Only doing test, tren and Sarms. I want to get those in me and make sure levels are good. If all is under control. I am thinking to add Equipoise.

This is a good start to the log. I will add food information as we go and try to give updates.
Try and get some pics of the start.

I am up to other options instead of EQ.
I don’t really want to run an oral. So my first thought was primo or EQ.
I ran tren once before and it went ok. But I also ran TBol with it. I wanted to do it different this time.
No dbol I don’t like it for me.
Again I am avoiding orals this time.
If I feel good enough I might not add anything.
We shall see.
 
Let's see an up to date blood test for test
I need to try and get another blood work done.
I did the last one when I was the dirtiest. I wanted to see any bad levels.
That was a good thing. It confirmed what I thought. Estrogen and prolactin was way high and test was low.
My body eats test like crazy and just burns it up.
I am sure that is why I didn’t get as much as possible from that cycle.
That was all my fault. This time I am doing it slower and easing into it. Don’t get greedy!
That is always hard to do, but the best advice.

really with tren anything else you add is just an extra bonus
I've noticed in the past the more stuff I add the more side effects go up though so I agree with you don't get greedy

i know you hate orals but winstrol i love especially going into a contest it works
 
Bummer. Got to work. Looked at Sarms I had and I was wrong. I do not have any rad 140. I had ACP 105. Every time I tried ACP it made me tired.
So RAD is off list. Was only running it cause I thought I had it.

So I am starting with.
3000 calories
40% carbs. 300g
40% protein 300 g
20 % fat.66g

This works well for me but I do want opinions and ideas.
From here if I add more calories it would be in the form of carbs and fat. This is 1.5 protein per lb body weight. That is an ok amount.

Fire up the key pads and let’s hear ideas and opinions.

Raising fats is tough for me. Of course good fats.
I don’t hardly eat dairy. I can, I just don’t.
I know I can add oils and such I just haven’t.

I do eat red meat and fish.

I will take some pics of food. But my meals are so boring. They don’t look appetizing.

I adopted an eating lifestyle few years back. I made it super simple. That is what makes it easy for me.

Most folks diet! I hat that word. Most diets are difficult and that’s why folks fail.

Adopt an eating life style that works for you and it is more successful. Since mine is simple and repetitive I don’t put thought into meals. On diets people are always thinking of new meals to make. What is the next thing I get to eat? Going to the store and buying new things to cook.

Shit they spend all day thinking about food!!!!
No wonder they are hungry and fall off diets.

Most meals I am just eating for purpose!
 
I don't think anything wrong with red meat as long as it's grass-fed

That's easy dirty. Clean is hard
I've never attempted lol, I've noticed the older I get the harder it is for eating alot without feeling like I'm forcing meals, all part of it I suppose

When I eat at maintenance level of less I am good. But when I start pushing a lot of food I feel full all the time and it is hard to eat more.
I started taking a digestive enzymes.
Just a simple pill with each meal. Basically helps you digest food easier and not feel sluggish.

If you wanting to gain weight I would up carbs and protein. 100g each maybe higher on carbs. during bulk I will take 175-215g carbs hour pre workout then take another 100g post workout

Ya that is why I only order 5 for me and 5 for my wife.
Meal prep is cheaper. We do this for convenience. Of course these are like 11 bucks. Same cost as fast food. I do it to break up the boring.
If you are fasting or cutting I guess not bad.
My wife does 2 36 hour fast each week and this is perfect for her

Had a great workout with my trainer.
I mainly got him to help me with form.
First few year I did fine working out and getting fit.
Then was smart enough to ask for help.
That’s hard for most of us. I knew my form was not good on a lot of things.
I would watch videos and talk to people.
But I told my trainer. I got the food part and got the motivation. I need form help and mind muscle connection. He is great for me. He realized I am long arms. Long legs and short body. So I have to do things differently than others. He is an ifbb pro. But talking to him you wouldn’t m on now it. He really cares and wants to help all kinds of people. We tried some new stuff and made simple adjustments and boom it worked.
For chest doing pull overs I never feel it in my chest. So why do them. He shorted my movement and changes some angle and hand position. Wow 40 lb ain’t much but I could see and feel my little chest working.
Now need to eat. Then eat again. Then sleep.
Maybe an epsom salts bath before bed.

amazing what a good coach can do to help. good job bro
 
I think people that live in colder climates can really take advantage of nice warm baths
 
for sure a good trainer is an extra set of eyes that you might miss
 
I've never had a trainer or coach, I learned through reading and watching and implementing on my own, it was a hard process but worth the time and effort it took.

It is crazy how it feels better since the PRP shot. Still lots of movement in that joint. Craziest thing is how much range of motion I have. For years my right knee would not fold up as far as the left knee.
I could not squat down hardly at all.
I didn’t go crazy first day.
Hamstring curl machine 85 lb 4 set -15
Leg extension individual 45 lb 4 set -15
Seated calf machine 150-200lb 4 set 20
Vertical leg press started with 2 plates each side added a plate each set. Ended with 5 plates each side 4 set-15
Dead lifts 135- 225 4 set-10
Back was screaming by this point
Did more seated calf raises.
2-3 plates 4 set-12
RDL set 45 lb dumbell 4 set -10.

Not a huge work out but a good starting point.

The story on my right knee.
At age 13 I started doing stunts in Las Vegas.
By 16 I was doing live stunt shows.
In 1984 my senior year of high school. I was doing a live western stunt show for 5500 people.
My fall off a roof of 14” to the ground. I slipped. I made the fall but took a bad landing. Tore up my knee. Spent 6 months in a leg brace. Leg was locked up and swollen with 10percent movement. Finally realizing my doctor made a bad diagnosis.
Went to a new ortho and he had me in surgery 24 hrs later removed a bunch of torn cartilage.
Lost 50 percent of size in that thigh. I ran track and legs where the only thing I had muscle in.
Fast forward through live and arthritis sets in late 90s. Leg never really was right. Had kids got dad bod. Then 52 happens and I start back in the gym. At this point knee is a joke.
Hurts and has bad range of motion and you can see the joint moving around inside its self.
Oh ya took a bunch of bad high speed motorcycle crashes racing street bikes in early 90s. One of them stood up. Felt knee pain. Pulled off my leathers to find my patella on the side of my knee. In a panic I grabbed it and shoved it back around to the front. Did not have insurance so I never had it looked at. Swole up and leg turned purple to my toes. Hard headed and broke. I just suffered through it with Advil..
Needless to say I have not been kind to my body. People see me and say “you have runner legs” true but I have walker knees.

Today I went with my young adult kids.
Went to a pickle ball place for 2hrs and did what I do.
Whip there ass!!! Or atleast that is the point of view in my head. Hahahaha!
Came home and put ice on the knee and took a nap.
Then got up and went to gym and had a killer work out on shoulders. 20 minutes in sauna. Went home to meal prep
 
deadlifting properly is so good to build strength in your hands and on your back

Dead lift are new for me. I have done them a few times just like squats. I have not done them much.
I plan to keep working on them. Before taking last year off on legs I maxed my dead lift at 315. That is my goal now. Just get back to doing a full set of those.
Squats I plan to start with box squats. I am spooked that my knee will fold up on me, it is a mind thing right know.
 
Today shoulders
All set of 4 reps 12-15
Cable machine. Side delt raise. Side delt raise behind back, front delt raise. Bent over rear delt raise.

Dumbells
All sets of 4 reps 10-12
Some of these super sets.
Seated over head press 40,50,55,60 lb
Seated side delt 20,25,25,30 lb
Seated side delt leaned forward
Standing side raise in front 30,30,35,40.
40s not full range but load the muscle.
Seated bent over rear delt. 15,20,25,25

4 sets reps 20,20,20,max

I just suffered through it with Advil..
Needless to say I have not been kind to my body. People see me and say “you have runner legs” true but I have walker knees.

Today I went with my young adult kids.
Went to a pickle ball place for 2hrs and did what I do.
Whip there ass!!! Or atleast that is the point of view in my head. Hahahaha!
Came home and put ice on the knee and took a nap.
Then got up and went to gym and had a killer work out on shoulders. 20 minutes in sauna. Went home to meal prep
Man that’s terrible
 
Bit too much volume for that shoulder joint

This day I did cable first and not heavy gave joint a good warm up and got blood flow.

Some times I will reverse it and do cable as main movement and focus on negative.

Yes insurance would have been nice.
I only had liability. That only covers some one else if you hit them. Crashing was a common theme back then. Pick up the bike and try to ride away before the cops show up. I rode on the edge. Problem is I never saw the edge till it was late. Adrenaline junky. Got married and calmed down. Thank goodness she came along. Now I try and be safer. I have something to live for.

Yes it was considered a workman’s comp.
So surgery was paid for. After awhile they closed it out and labeled me 15 percent disabled.
They gave me a 4500 dollar settlement. What a joke.
Wow I wish I knew then what I know now.
It was a different time in the 80s
