shoulder to waist ratio

What are your thoughts on shoulder to waist ratio?? How much wider should your shoulders be than your waist?? My waist is 36", and around my shoulders is 62".

hey grinch,

i don't know about shoulders, but steve reeves and jack la lane (back in the old days) used to have close to 20 inches more around the chest than the waist. i'm pretty sure reeves had a ~29" waist and ~49" chest.

the smaller your waist, the bigger the rest of you looks!

well....I have a big chest ( 48") and a waist that's about 32"...I'm not sure about the ratio...but I could stand to loose about 10 pounds, specifically around the waist area.
