shoulder day

All I have access to today is an Olympic barbell and weight (no bench). I want to have an insense shoulder/tricep day. The only exercises I can think of are Military Press and Front Plate Raises. Does anyone have some ideas for me?
 
You dont need much more for shoulders, Military or Push Press are great, side or front raises as well. You could do an upright row, but its not a movement that I recoment anymore, it can lead to injury.

Agree about the CGBP, but as you dont have a bench you will have to do them Floor press style, so hope you have a spotter to set you up, and be careful is the plates dont let the bar clear your body, or if you dont have a way to raise them. You could also do skull crushers or JM press...

I found a picnic table bench that I can do the skull crushers with. I just hope its sturdy. I'll post in about an hour or two to tell you how it went

looks solid...and if your workin out to that cd ya posted earlier..i'm sure your lifts will be good too.;)
 
Heres how it went down


Standing Barbell Press
95x8, 105x6, 115x3x5
First time ever doing these... I guess my shoulders are weaker than I thought. Before I just did seated dumbell presses with 70s. Felt good though. I'm gonna stick with these.


Front Plate Raises
45x2x8
Felt good. By the end of these, my shoulds were dead.


Floor Presses
135x8, 155x6, 205x3x5
First time doing these as well and I loved them. I could really feel my triceps getting hit hard.


Standing Plate Overhead Extensions
45x2x8
I had to struggle to get through my last rep on this. My triceps were dead from the exercises before.



Good workout... I didnt fail on any reps, but my upper body is dead.
