I did a shock workout for my calves yesterday and I am in pain. It's not like the usual sore feeling. My calves actually hurt. The jist of this work is you pick a weight where you reach failure at about 20 reps of standing calve raises. You keep going till faliure, at failure you rest for 3 seconds and start again, you repeat this process until you reach 75 reps. I promise you will not be able to walk after you finish this. This was one of the most painful things that I have ever done. This is not something that should be done more then twice a month, but I promise, you will feel the results the next morning.
