Shit! Did I just inject into a vein just now???

I was hitting the ventrogluteal site (the hip), and stupid me forgot to aspirate after injecting 1ml... so I aspirated in the middle of the inject and glob or two of blood went into the syringe. I pulled out the syringe, and switched out the needle and plunged into a different area of the ventrogluteal site. I aspirated first and just got an air bubble, so I injected the rest of the 1.5ml. Then I let the needle rest for a little bit after injection, and when I pulled out from the site, lots of blood streamed down my leg, I wiped it and still blood came streaming down so I pressed on it and then it stopped. What the fuck happened, two bad injects, I wonder if I wasted that second inject - could the blood have pushed out my 1.5ml when streamed down?

And most importantly, did I just shoot into a vein the first time? It was just a few big globs/droplet of blood when I aspirated after having shot 1ml the first time. I kinda freaked, but I feel totally fine. I didn't cough or anything, does that mean I didn't shoot into a vein or what? Maybe the needle was just moving around too much?

Am I supposed to feel something instantly if I shot into a vein or somewhere I'm not supposed to? It's been 5-10 minutes since this incident, and I still feel fine, just kinda freaked out by this incident and totally bummed at the two shots I just did just now...

well 20 min later you posted saying you feel fine. So my guess is your fine. worse case scenario you lost a lil gear. But I highly doubt 1.5ml got pushed out. probably just moved it around a lil too much. that happens to me every now and then. I use a baby gauge(25g) so it takes a while to push all that gear in there. I hear its alot easier and faster with a thicker needle. But if you feel fine...im sure your fine man.

yeah i just hate that the one time i forget to aspirate, and then in the middle of already injecting 1cc+ I remember to aspirate and then aspirate globs of blood.

Then removing and pinning a couple inches away from the first injection point on the hip, I aspirate and nothing but after pulling out needle blood gushes down my legs.

lol, worst injection day ever.

So if the oil does get into a vein or if you accidentally shoot into it, is coughing always going to happen?

Ya man, that would suck. But consider yourself lucky, and this a lesson learned. I have personally never injected into a vein, but I hear it is not fun at all. Hopefully I never will.

I did it first cycle and it sucks so fucking bad i dont even want to talk about it.
Yeah,consider yourself lucky.
It sounds like you just went through the vain, believe me if you would have injected directly into a vain you would deff know it brother!

I think I'm going to just inject the oils fast now, give it a hard push after aspirating. I always put into practice pushing slowly, but I think that risks the needle moving around too much especially on glutes and hip shots.

I did a forum searching about "hitting vein" here on EF, and think I read every thread about it lol. Scariest story was about a guy who hit a vein and 45 minutes died of a heart attack. Dam, I think I just about passed the 45 minute mark, so still alive lol...

wtf? I didnt know you could die from it. That is seriously some scary shit.
