shaving

Wow, how long have you been waxing?

I've been waxing for about 4-5 years. I can go six weeks before I need a bikini wax again. About 8 weeks before I need my arpits, legs and arms waxed again. It use to be that I could only go about 2 weeks before I'd need waxing again.

I would love if I could go 6 months without waxing. I'm assuming, like with me, over time you have been able to go longer periods of time without waxing. Which is why I'm curious as to how long you've been waxing. :)

Either way, that's a long time......I got sick of going for waxing every 3 weeks, so gave it up...

Tried shaving today using conditioner...so far so good....

I wax all the hair on my body except my eyebrows, eyelashes and hair on my head. I can not stand body hair. I would shave but my skin is ultra sensitive. Razors burn me. I also get really bad ingrown hairs.

I've been waxing my legs on and off for 10 years....started doing it when my leg hair started to turn black when I was 16...

I got tired of shaving two-three times a week so I switched to waxing about three years ago. Between the time I save in the shower, the cost of special lotions and shave creams and the annoying red bumps the day after, getting the area waxed is so worth the money. And yes, over the last year I've noticed that I don't have to go in as often as I used to. :) Wax is so cool.

But, it hurts like hell! Maybe I'm more sensitive, but my bikini line was sooooo painful I gave up...didn't get any easier it seems. Those are some THICK roots man! Went back to the razor...more convenient and NO PAIN!!!! Just wish it didn't grow in so quick.

Yep, when I had my bikini are waxed -- did that & my underarms for about a year -- the hair never grew in any less or any lighter & I still had to go every 3 weeks or so......what was most annoying was in the summer having hairy pits till I could get them waxed again....yuck!!

I know that's what would happen to me so I just shave pretty much every day. I don't get rashy often. I like the venus razor and either skintimate shave gell or baby oil.

If I had the money I would get everythinng lasered. I got a quote for my lip and chin and am probably going to end up getting that done. After that laser one area at a time tell I am hair free.

Laser works best on dark hair. If I'm gonna get mine done I better do it soon. I found my first grey eyebrow hair not long ago. Yanked that sucker right out! LOL
