a gay man in san fransisco (where else) has T cells which HIV cannot penetrate for some reason
and a whole bunch of ethiopian prostitues living in the same village
as for whether they will go into the harsh details of it cockdezl.....no probably not. then again do you expect a child to understand that stuff? yes u are right it is socilisation, but Africa needs that, aids sufferes are shunned in some parts of africa, odd considering most ofthem have it in certain parts.
it will HOPEFULLY show them that they dont have to worry about using the same toilet seat as a postive person, how to react if someone cuts themselves etc. and i hope lay the foundations for proper sex education later in life

hmm
well in the case of the vaccine (if its working) it only immunises against 1 type of HIV. its based on research from macrophages from these ethiopians so one assume they arent immune to both types
the gay man has T cells which dissallow any HIV to enter them. the show i was watching wasnt advanced enough to state whether he was immune against both types. but since both virus's are similar (HIV-2 is the one less suited to human hosts i tthink) both would insert themselves into humans in the same way
unfortunate;y they think a 3rd strain is forming in thailand. pity because i hear the girls over there are well up for it

African children are exposed mostly via two methods:
1. The fetus gets it in the womb from the HIV+ mother.
2. There is a common myth among African males that if they have sex with a virgin child, they will be cured of the disease. It's not uncommon the daughters are infected by their fathers.

the whole prostitue thing confuses the shit outta me. they arent resistant once they stop having sex. they contract it once stoppng sex. yet their macrophages are being used as the basis for the vaccine (i think). so they are having an immune reaction where their macropages are killing HIV
good pont on the mutations. it hasnt happened yet, presumably because their immune cells wont allow it, or that as much as the virus mutates their mmune system still recognises it as nonself.....who knowsd

natureboy, they did all get HIV but only when they stopped having sex. odd huh? thats what steve jones said and he's *super* famous
