I disagree...

No one is immune from getting AIDS. Yeah, your behavior can put you at a higher risk... but I've never heard of someone being immune.

I think the difficult part will be explaining how the muppet became exposed to HIV.

Usually HIV is transmitted sexually. People with other STDs, such as syphillis and herpes are significantly more likely to infect and be infected. I have read studies suggesting that anal sex is a lot riskier than vaginal sex. All of this puts prostitutes, IV drug users, possibly gays and people living in poverty (higher rates of syphillis) at higher risk for HIV.

I think this is a good idea. However, the first question that comes to mind is how it is going to be explained to kids without either teaching them everything about sex or giving them a fairy-tale view of HIV.

If you believe this, then you probably believe that HIV was created by the US military to kill blacks.

Not to mention that it is obvious you have no knowledge concerning microbiology and molecular biology. Yes there are cases of individuals who are immune to HIV.

I have read of some prostitutes in Thailand who, in a study, had no ill-effects from their long-term HIV+ status. Kinda like a BBer being immune to gyno, eh?

they're not necessairly immune to HIV, they are carriers but don't feel it's effects.

Well, a friend of mine is responsible for helping to develop a possible vaccine for HIV.. I'm going to ask him.
