Scary shit: friend tried to inject for his first time:

Little Rage

New member
Well my friend decided he wanted to run a cycle for the first time, but is a little scared of needles. So i decided to sit at his place and help him with it. He got the needle into his leg, and aspirated. He looked up said he felt a little dizzy. I told him to take a deep breath and just take it out. He attempted to push in, and then said he didn't feel good. So i told him to pull it out quick. the second he got it out, he laid back on the bed, and began to convulse, while his eyes rolled back into his head: this lasted about 10 seconds. He then sat up and asked what happened, he had no clue what just went on. This scared the shit out of me.

I know i personally almost passed out when i was doing my first bi injection but has anyone experienced anything this extreme?

Is your friend an epileptic? He may be embarrassed to admit it... Intense stress can cause seizures, he might have been VERY nervous...

yea he said this happened to him before when he gave blood and i believe one other time. He was sweating, and shaking a good bit, so i could tell he was nervous as hell.

Well, at least he was smart enough to have someone there for the first time. Did he tell you all this beforehand or just let you find out afterwards?

Stress and hormonal changes can all make seizures more likely. Estrogen fluctuations in women can change seizure patterns and you friend is about to start fluctuationg all kinds of hormones. He may want to think about this a little longer if is he an epileptic...

He may be just one of those people that litteraly faints at the site of blood and needles. I've known people like that. Also I find shots in the Quads to be fairly painful for me and the injection site stays red and irritated for a few days afterwards. That's why I like to inject into the glutes. It is painless there.

He may get over it with a little experience though.

unfortunately he told me afterwards... i was like %$Q$*%Q@#!!!

so I had to help him out, and he had no problem then.

It actually sounds like a pseudoseizure, with usual post-ictal stuff not being mentioned, but no way to tell without an eeg. Plus could have been a real seizure if highly reactive to a solvent. . . either way, maybe he should stick to orals . . .

I've passed out before whle having blood drawn from my arm, but never getting an injection. Maybe if he doesn't actually see the needle stuck in his body he'd be ok, have him inject himself in the ass cheek.

Might be an anaphylactic reaction. ANY needle introduced sub-dermally can cause this in certain people. I work for a pharmaceutical company, which specializes in injectable medications, and we ALWAYS ship an anaphylactic kit to patients with their first dose. Might be that.

I use the 25g needles and when I try to aspirate it doesn't seem like the plunger is moving back so I don't ever really know if I have done it or not. So I then inject 1/8 cc and then I wait for about a minute. Then I do another 1/8 cc then wait. If everything goes fine, bombs away.

The plunger not moving back is a good thing. It means you're in the muscle. It you were in an artery it would move back, with blood in it of course.

the first time for my "friend" was nuts too...

but now he can do it no problem and looks forward to injection day.

he had no problem when i helped him when he calmed down... he said shooting it himself and watching the needle was the reason he freaked out. it made his anxiety go through the roof.

tell him not to feel bad -we all were a lil anxious the first time,i remember staring at that 1 1/2 23g pin thinking gosh that things a monster!!!! After that it was a breeze!!!

I was a bit shaky my first time, even after educating my self on site injections. I was still concerned about injected into a vain and nervous about those damn little tiny air buddles that refuse to come out (even though it would take a lot more to actually do damage). But everything went smooth from there after.

It looks like to me you friend has a fear he will have to overcome before he can do this again. Maybe he needs to see a shrink, seriously.

some peoples fear fo needles is serious. i odnt have it though , it was easy for me. you might have to do it for him, have him look away and stick him. i do it for my home boy, he has a major fear too.

I Had no idea what to do My first time, I got my test from some chick who worked in pharmacy and looked everything up in books I stuck that 18 GA right the hell in my quad. I asked my friend if she didnt have any smaller needles as that one seemed to be a bit large. She gave me some 22's, As for dosages, I had no idea, I did 300 mg depo test a week with 30 mg methyl test every day and 6 mg winstrol along with 20 mgs nolvadex ED Oh yeah and she got me a few vials of deca, like 3 I think so I added them too.. I got good results too!. I even figured out to use clomid. That was a long ass time ago!

Dude- he is just scared... used to have a friend who had a fear of blood... little tiny cut, would go into seizure symptoms.... One time someone was just mixing red paint and the kid did it....

Coupled with the fact he had the same reaction before in a similar non-threatening situation I would say 95% sure that is the case....

What you need to do is get a bucket of sheeps blood and throw it on him... that will cure him (or send him to the nut house)...

Just did my first inj last week. I have always been extremely nervous around needles and had to psyche up for it for weeks. I still got dizzy and weak after the first one, but was relieved to have done it and it was relatively painless. Now it's still not something I look forward to, but it gets easier each time. So it's not uncommon to get yourself so freaked out that your body starts to shut down. Needles and blood drawing or IV injections are much worse in my opinion. It's simply a matter of keeping in mind the end result, and that makes it all worthwhile. Once you begin to see gains you won't mind the injections a bit.

that shit happened to me after i got 8 shots so i could get my physical and on the 6th or 7th one it hurt really bad(well not hurt but pinched or something but I just rolled back on the table and passed out and i guess i was shaking and shit but it only lasted about 10 seconds and just like that guy i aws like it doesnt feel too good and my head was gettin dizzy, anwyays the girl was hot so i tried to be a bad boy and laugh it off but didnt work too well

Its just from being nervous. I remember it took me several hours to do my first injection, but after that I started to look forward to them. The same thing happened to me when I got a shot before I got some stitches. The doctor said it just happens to some people. Some people get so nervous and worked up, their body just shuts down.

I just stared at the needle for a while. Then, I swabbed off my ass and put that 21g SOB in there. I didn't jab it in quick, I sort of worked at it because it didn't want to bust the skin. Yeah, I was a little nervous and 21g needles look big. But, once it was in, you get this pain like you know you've been stuck w/ something deep. Pulled back, saw no red and dropped the thing. Come time for next injection, fuckit, bam, in, pull, push, overwith. My biggest problem is doing it lefthanded and when I get alcohol on my hand, it's slippery.

I have no fear of needles. I been stuck more times than Jenna Jameson. Well, I might fear a spinal needle or a cardiac needle, but that's another story.

The guy is just a wussy who is needle-phobic. Happens to tons of people. They pass out getting shots and drawing blood. That's why they sit you down.

I was at Home Depot about a year ago and some guy is screaming help. I ran over to his truck and his son was on the side with the door open and looked dead as a doornail. I figured I better start checking vitals and get some info.

Turns out that the kid can’t take blood and cut his hand in Home Depot. Just got dizzy, hit the ground, and did a little gig before falling into a slumber.

It may have just been a panic attack.

18 GA right the hell in my quad

OH MY GOD! Those are damn stovepipes!

For injecting almost pain free even with a 20Ga. First, fuck site injections. They hurt like a fuck after.

Just thrust the first 1/8 inch of the needle in quick to get through the skin. Like a pop. You shouldn't have to push. If you are fighing to get it in the the needle is screwed, get another one. Just push the rest in. It should not hurt.

If you are shooting 3cc then get a damn 5cc so you can draw back and not sit there choking on the floor for 5 min.

If you draw back and see blood don't pull out right away. Get paper towels because you'll be pissing blood all over the floor.

shew! i dont feel so bad.... my first time consisted of me turning metallica up real loud and biting down on a leather belt thinking it was gonna hurt. it didnt. i felt retarded and now im in nursing school and give shots all the time.
