Sarms1 Andarine (S-4) & Cardarine (GW-501516) Log

Good morning everyone,

I've been lurking around the site for nearly 2 weeks now and finally got my shipment in and started my journey today. Some back ground on me, I'm 27, 6'2 240lbs with a football and track background. I've been working out for over 10 years ( weight training and running) and have been doing so clean. ( No steroids, pro hormones, nothing) I feel like I have hit a wall and figured SARMs could help me lean out a little, and maybe give me a push in increasing my runtimes while getting stronger in a few lifts... if not stronger, build muscle endurance and help me knock out more reps at the current weights I'm at.

I have not maxed out in nearly 2 years because I have been working out solo but on my own I've been able to put up 405lb x2 on the bench ( this was maybe 2 months ago) and I typically deadlift and squat 225lbs for 10 reps. I have yet to max out on either in a long time.

I do a lot of pushups, pull-ups, dips, military press, bench, cleans, and light weight squat and deadlift. I run about 15-20 miles a week and plan on increasing to 25.

My dieting is horrible, meaning I have self control but I eat what I want nearly when I want. I'm the kind of guy who get a #2@ McDonalds and 2hr later run 3 miles....I enjoy food. lol. Regardless, I'm planning on cleaning that up, I'm here for advice, support and feedback and to hopefully help anyone if I can along the way.

My goals off this cycle are to drop 10-15 lbs, drop my 2 mile run time to 12:15 from there I may add MK into the mix and go for stronger bench and military press numbers in addition to more reps in my pull-ups and dips

Here are some pics - Day One log is coming

1/28/14 - Tuesday

7am –.5ml S4 tasted horrible. Extremely strong after taste. I cannot compare this to anything I’ve taken because the amount was so little yet packed a powerful punch @ 707am, taste still lingering

7:11 –. 7ml of GW, tasted bad, but not as strong as S4

.5ml seems like nothing but hey that’s the dosage

Empty stomach

1 scoop Mr. Hyde

Chest Day 1/28/14 Tuesday

Bench Press – 135x 20, 225x10(2), 245x10, 275x10, 315x10, 315x8, 315x5, 185x10
Cable Chest workout
Dumbbell Incline – 90x10, 100x10, 110x10
Cable Chest workout
Incline Bench Press – 185x10, 225x10(2)
Isolated lateral Decline Press – 2plates x10 (2), 3 plates x10(2)

Cardio
2 mile run – 16 mins

10 min cycle

2mile run – 15:10

Conclusion: Good workout - not the best, not the worst. I didn’t feel any extreme motivation. Dumbbell decline I felt strong, could have went up to 120lbs. Disappointed in flat bench. Cardio was slow, could of did 6 miles total but extremely sweaty, so opted out. Not a bad 1st day of GW and S4, maybe hasn’t taken stride in my system.

Breakfast: 3 eggs scramble w/ cheese

Sarms1 S4 and GW go together like bread n butter. You're gonna enjoy the ride

It's 20mg/ml so its rather potent !

actually if you read a lot of discussions on the supplement it can be taken anywhere from 10-20 mgs/ml

since this was my first day I elected to do more than 10 mgs but less than 20

tomorrow I will do 20mgs

I'm not denying the potency of the supplement I was just speaking of its such a little amount, but I've heard the results are amazing

Sent from my SCH-I535 using EliteFitness

also just to eliminate confusion I was referring to the strength in taste not the quality of the supplement compared to the other

Will be following your log, bro, I'm about a month into my S-4/GW cycle. One suggestion though...if you're doing high rep strength workouts(hypertrophy-based) then alternate your conditioning(runs) so they're on different days. If you're doing two contrasting types of exercise your body will not adapt strength-wise or you will lessen the results you are getting. If I do lifts on the same days as my conditioning I try to keep my reps in the 10-15 range total. There's also a study that came out that shows that endurance training interferes with strength gains/adaptation. Granted, the exercise they did was leg extensions but the data is pretty conclusive. Just a thought, bro.

Endurance training reduces strength training gains in muscle mass and strength

@ travishibachi, I appreciate the advice, because of my profession, it's kind of more realistic for me to combine weightlifting and cardio. In the time that I have been combining the two, my muscles have been able to perform in all different kinds of conditions and under the worst circumstances.

Some days I only lift, some days are only cardio, I really enjoy running a couple of miles before I lift, then finishing with a couple. I even do a little cross fit. So my workouts may appear odd to some, I weight 240 but I run 4-5x a week easily and I either do 4 miles spilt into 2 miles or straight 3-5 miles.

Keep it coming though, I really like the advice.

How often before you workout do you take your SARMS or do you not follow that and just take AM/PM?

I take mine 30-45 minutes before my workouts. I was doing the split dosing protocol but as RickRock said once it reaches peak blood concentrations it's not going to matter when you dose or if you split the dose into AM/PM. Hope you get some sick gains, bro.

Day Two

Ok guys, let me just start off by saying this morning I was still confused about when to take my dosage.

If AM/PM works the best or should I treat it like a pre-workout and take 30-45 mins prior. Regardless, the 1st 2 days I’m going with the AM/PM method

Also, because the weather is so bad where I live, my gym closed early yesterday and said they would not be opened until noon today, well guess what, they never opened. So I was forced to work out in a housing rec center and if you’ve ever workout out in a apt rec center or hotel, you know how limited it is.

My initial plan was to focus on dead lift, military press and squat. I had to scratch that. This is what I came up with.

½ mile sprint 3:15 - 25 pushups x 2 - 40 sit-ups
½ mile sprint 3:16 – 25 pushups x2 – 40 sit-ups

¼ sprint – 25 pushups 20 fludderkicks
¼ sprint – 25 pushups 20 fludderkicks

Pullups – 10 reps x 5 sets ( 60-75 % strict)
Military Press – 100lb x 15 (3) Air Squats – 50 (3)
Pullups – 5 reps x 5 sets (90-100% strict)

Hang Cleans ( for speed) 100lb x10 (3) Jump Lunges 10 each leg (20total) (3)

Single Arm row (cables) 90lb x20 per arm
120lb x 10 per arm
150lb x 10 per arm

Front Raises (cable w/ rope) 60lb x 20 (2)
75 lb x10
90lbs x10
105lb x10

At this point I was an hr into my workout and felt really good and strong, not very endure at all, even after sprinting earlier. I felt motivated to keep going

3 mile run – 23:30

Conclusion - It’s important to not I’ve been running on treadmill and not outside. I prefer outside but it’s about 25 degrees. If I had a workout buddy, I could push myself even harder. I was also very limited today. I also have a cold, on a scale of 1/10, my cold is at a 3 and I still went hard today.

This workout last 1hr 32mins... it could have gone 2hr. I need to start bringing a 2nd shirt. I'm naturally sweaty and now I'm getting drenched

I also took 1 scoop of Mr. Hyde prior to my workout and for breakfast at 10am I had 2 eggs w/ cheese and about 8 oz of steak

I ended up working out nearly 3 hrs after dosing .5ml of S4 and .5ml of GW because of the gym situation

I will dose again this evening

When walking around I don’t feel anything special but when I hit the gym, I guess it all comes together. I’m more excited to see where I’m at after 7 days… we all know mentally when we try a new sup, we naturally go harder. So I give myself ½ credit right now and GW/S4 the rest.

Also I will take new pics in 7 days if I notice a difference.

This stuff still taste bad, very bad

Day Three 1/30/2014

I believe the effects of S4 and GW are starting to run their course. I just ate my 1st snack/meal of the day (4pm my time) and I've been up since 9am

My appetite has been curbed and I've felt energized for the pass few hours.

Last night, I stayed up until 2 am, after my run. This is not uncommon for me, some days I'm in bed by 10pm and other I stay awake until 2-3am. I don't think GW or S4 played any part in this.

I'm still at 50mg total of S4 and 20mg of GW, spilt dosing both AM/PM. While only Day 3, no negative effects.

Today's workout was Legs

Squat - 135lbx10(5), 185x 10 (3), 225x10 (2) = 100 reps
Leg Ext - 25lb per side - 10 continuous no rest Alt leg to (5) sets total
45per x10 (2) 55per x 10(2) 65 per x10 (1) = 100reps
Leg Curl 70lbx20(2), 90lb x10(2), 110lb x10, 130x 10 (3) = 100 reps

At this point in my workout I felt great, very energized

2mins of lunges
2mins of lunges

Calf Press (light weight) 100 reps
Seated Calf 100 reps

Conclusion: I'm feeling great about the product, I think it's starting to really enter the system. I'm expect better results tomorrow and the next day since that will be my Day 4 and 5

I have no vision problems, a curbed appetite , and burst of energy through the day.

tomorrow is a 5 mile run. Looking forward to it.

Good updates so far, bro. The burps seem to differ on some days....sometimes it's not so bad and other days I feel like I just took a shot of everclear. Granted, I'm up to 80 mg now so I have to take almost 2 full droppers worth but S-4 definitely tastes bad although not as bad as ostarine ha. The GW is equivalent to taking pepto bismol but with a slightly worse taste to it. I need to start running again outside too, bro, it's just been so damn cold. And I can't run on a treadmill if my life depended on it...so boring! Maybe I'll quit being a wimp and hit up the nature trails by my house.

Good morning guys,

As I promised myself, 5 mile run this morning. I paced myself perfect at 8 min miles. I hit a 2.3 mile trail, had to double back to make it 4.6 then ran a straight away to make 5.

I felt really good, and this was on about 5 hrs of sleep. I stayed up watching a TV show until nearly 2 am.

I took my normal spilt dose of both, .5 S4 and .5 GW. I made a cup of coffee then I was out.

I will do a quick cross fit workout this afternoon. I'm done running until Monday. I really pushed it the pass 5 days, logged good mileage.

I'll take Superbowl Sunday completely off from training.

Conclusion: Legs sore, BUT very motivated, not as energized because of the 30 degree 5 miler. But hey...it is what it is. I expect to be charged for my 2nd workout.

Very nice. Looks like I need to quit being a wimp and start running on the trails again regardless of how cold it might be ha. Keep up the good updates, bro.

Just finished my style of a Crossfit workout, I really need to consider joining a CF Gym for 30 days just to perfect my technique - my lifts are not where they should be for a 235-240lb man, lol.

I know I can clean 225lb and I know I can deadlift in the 400+ range, however, I know physically I can and should be doing more. I just have not been instructed and critique on my Olympic lifts since my football days 10yrs ago.

Long story short, I'm fatigued. Here's my 2nd workout of the day, a quick 30 min workout. I'll lift light tomorrow and then take Sunday off

500m Row- 1:33
Deadlift 225x5x5x5
pull-ups x10
power clean 135x5x5
500m Row- 1:52
Deadlift 225x5x5
pull-ups x10
power clean 145x5x5
500m Row-1:55
Deadlift 225x5
pull-ups x10
power clean 155x5x5

Conclusion- I'm tired, regardless of SARMS, still have to take .5GW

Really great day training. Hit the gym for an hour, focused on lats, delts and traps.

I didn't have time to write my workout down today, but I put up really great numbers and reps in pull downs and all my row exercises.

I think this coming up week I will bump up my S4 intake slightly, I'll maybe do this mid-week.

I would like to add a kick to this stack I have going, From what I here MK(osta) works great... anything else that will give me more strength gains but I still would like to be running 20 miles a week.

What do you guys think? I know MK(osta) is the triple stack everyone raves about but is there anything else that would really help in the strength gains and muscle endurance.

So from weeks 1-4 I'm S4 and GW, what would put the icing on the cake for weeks 4-8 if I continue the GW and S4 + ????

Thanks guys

Thanks Steve, I've been running since a young age and it has always stuck. Even though my times are not anywhere close to some who compete regularly in 10ks and 13.1 or 26.2mi runs, they are ok for me.

The GW I believe has helped some, even 2 days before starting I did a competition that had me on my feet running/ walking 20 miles, so my distance and times are skewed a little this week.

They are def still going to improve

best believe gw is helping you! the stuff is amazing.. your endurance will reach levels its hasnt been since a teenager

Did a quick workout this morning, mainly pushups and sit-ups but I decided to hit the Hammer Strength Flat bench. I had no intentions of maxing out, but here are the results.

135x20, 225x10, 275x10, 315x10, 365x5, 405x3, 435x1, 315x10, 225x10, 135x10

Once, again I had no intentions of maxing, if so I would have stayed at lower reps, all reps where clean solid lifts w/ great form.

For all of you who have used the Hammer strength, do you count 85%-90% of the weight in comparison to a free flat bench? I ask because the Hammer strength is always a little easier.

I believe could of gotten up to 450 but burned myself leading up to 435... I want to set a goal of 500lb by Summer, maybe May time frame.

Also, I was out on the roads at 4am, not problems with night vision yet and hopefully things stay this way.

Was the trail run for recovery or just for cardio? If I'm going for recovery or long duration slower pace I use breathing through my nose as a self-limiting factor. Workouts are looking boss, bro, just wait 'til the S-4 starts to kick in :)

Thanks Travis,

The trail run was just cardio, I think it was just an off day. I will remember that technique.

Today my running was GREAT!

Tuesday 2/4/2014 Day 8

Today I did a 55 min run (outdoors), and it was great. I didn't calculate the distance, maybe I'll drive it tomorrow but the best thing is that I could of kept going. I wasn't very fatigued at all.

@ Travis, maybe it's starting to kick in, hopefully I can keep this up.

Conclusion: I feel great, no sides yet

I just did box jumps today for my Cardarine log, will be updating it soon. Those are some of the most brutal exercises out there.

Thursday 2/6/2014 Day 10

Workout

45min Basketball

followed by

4 mile run (outdoors)

Conclusion

I think I may be getting sick. This is the 2nd day in a row I'm sleepy by 5pm, and yesterday had some chills. Maybe it's the outdoor cardio at 40 degrees.

I think my first night vision sides are starting to show....yellow tint on vehicle headlights, what do you think Travis?

Other than that, when I'm working out, I'm still feeling great.

Great log mate! Solid unit of a bloke and to think you run as much as you do, that's very impressive. Keep up the rad work

So it's time to start a cycle of 5 days on and 2 off of the S4... I made it 10 days before I reached the point of slight vision problems

I don't know if fatigue and sickness are playing apart but pretty much, it's taking longer than I like for my eyes to adjust to changing in light. Moving indoors to outdoor natural light, darkness to light... It's tolerable but annoyed me yesterday evening and this morning. So, for the rest of the day and this weekend NO S4.

Friday 2/7/2014 Day 11

Workout

Dumbbell(Flat Bench)
90lbx10, 105x10,105x10,115x10,125x10
Cable chest workout (5sets)
Dumbbell Incline
105lbx10,105x10,105x10
Cable chest workout (3sets)
Bench Press
225lbx5 (3) 275lbx5 (3) 315x5
Incline Bench
225lbx5 (2) 275x5 275x4
Iso Lateral Decline Press
2(45lb plates) x20 x15 x10 3(45lb plates) x10 x10 x10

1 mile sprint (treadmill) 6:10

Conclusion

I'm sick, coughing up phlegm but guess what, my workouts are going strong STILL. Middle of my chest workout, I begin to feel sore, that soreness that could turn into injury, so I cranked back the sets and weight I intended on going.

6:10 is not a PR, I've cranked out 5:50 before but it's the 1st time I've time a 1 mile sprint in 6 months, + the cold +I have not been sprinting so, not bad.

Other than that, when I'm working out, I'm still feeling great.

Yes, headlights definitely have a yellow-ish tint to them although part of that might be the fact that older cars/some models have halogen bulbs in the headlights and others don't. My vision sides have increased a little now that I'm up to 90 mg but nothing that compromises my vision. I've had a few second delay transitioning from outside to inside and vice versa. Part of that is due to the fact that outside is covered in snow right now so the glare is pretty dreadful. Keep killing it, bro, I like how your log is progressing and it's nice to get feedback and see how your updates look from a third person perspective. Hope you feel better, bro.

s4 has this effect on some people.Your decision if you feel its worth it to use or go another route.

Today I didn't take any S4 and while the vision problems have gone down they still exist. I was still aware of the transition from indoor to outdoor and vice versa but it didn't linger as long as it did yesterday. I will take tomorrow off and start again Monday. My plan is to play it day by day, planning on going at least 5 days before another break. The problems I had weren't serious, just annoying, also, several years ago I had eye surgery to correct my vision so any problems nowadays are always extra annoying.

The yellowish tint... I know cars differ, but trust me, nearly every car is YELLOW, it doesn't really bother me but I notice the difference. Not to mention I was dosing around 70, so I will go back down to 50... maybe that was a problem also.

Thanks for the words of wisdom Travis and Hurricane and I appreciate the compliment tasride.

I'm going to keep going hard, I'm hoping tomorrow I'm man enough to knock out a long run

I'm slowly getting over this cold also.

Conclusion
I was feeling sorry for myself so I didn't really push myself as hard as I should/could of. I planned on running - canceled that.
1st time my motivation and drive was lacking since I started S4 and GW, 1st day off S4 and I'm feeling lazy. No worries, I'll be back in no time.

You sound like me haha. We can't hit it out of the park every workout, bro. However, it's the not-so-good workouts that make the awesome ones that much more appreciated. I felt like crap on Wednesday(probably CNS fatigue) but came back and hit it hard on Thursday and Friday. No worries you just started your cycle it will be nothing but smooth sailing ahead as long as you're recovering well.

Conclusion
So... after taking 2 1/2 days off S4 I noticed no vision sides what so ever. I think I will remain at 50 mg for the rest of the week and maybe the rest of the cycle so I can stay consistent with it and not have to take anymore breaks.

I PR'd max reps at 225lb bench press at 27 reps, NO SPOTTER!! I know isn't smart but I stopped soon as I felt fatigued. I probably could of beasted out 30 but I'm not going to be that guy, who slips up and seriously hurts himself. Anyways, totaled 7 miles today which was great also. Workout #2, mid workout, I began to get stronger cardio wise.... I'm still working to improve deadlift numbers, but I mainly only deadlift besides it being a great lift, I'm top heavy and it allows me to keep up with the smaller guys when running. But I need to get better.

Overall, I feel great, great workout. If the weather holds up I'll be doing "Murph" outdoors. I'm stoked to be back on S4, I believe it and GW are running strong in my system.

Thanks for the support guys!
