Roommate Extortion or Legitmate Worry

Ok, so last night I get a phone call.. from my roommates stating I need to be home, I respond stating I cannot get home tonight as I am busy. Please note me and the other 2 have not been on great terms the past month, month and 1/2. I need to know if this is something to worry about or not, but they said that the landlord called and said the state police and FBI were asking about me and that one of the tenants had seen "someone" going through my trash late at night and they questioned them and was flashed a badge stating ti was the FBI and ordered to go away. They have been questioned about me also apparently and the house I live in is under watch. All of this is heresay and I think its bogus because I am the youngest of the other roommates, we don't get along, im sure the landlord would like to rent out to another person. The roommates are aware of my usage *even though I stopped about a month ago* and they never liked it.. The state police were at my house within the past few days just to give me a citation and check on something with my vehicle but nothing related to AAS*which is why I think they are thinking its "under watch" Ive contacted them and squared that issue away.. Ive never sold nor bought in large quantitys as I am a poor college student. I also then spoke with someone who has contacts in certain agencys and they said its VERY unlikely that they would be trying to go through my trash especially to build a case, and they are only involved when it crosses state boarders. Any input? I highly doubt the state police/fbi would be giving my landlord/roommates tips about me or being so blatant about all of this, I think I am calling it bluff but to be sure I cleaned everything and have 30 days to move out.

Yea but what LE agency actually tips off the landlord, come on now..... I am not a source at all and have never been nor a remailer or anything along the lines of that so I don't see why they would waste there time. I feel like there all out to get me! haha

Edit: by the way everything has been cleaned and harddrives have been moved until further notice. I also have someone trying to find out if this claim is legitimate or not.

I know a fair amount of LE guys from the gym and their general consensus is that unless you are mixed up with recreational drugs, they tend to turn a blind eye to pure A.A.S. users. Of course it may be a different story if you were dealing and turning over 1000 amps a month or something. In any case, the FBI would probably be the wrong department. I mean, come on, do you really think the govt is going to send the feds out to search your trash for an empty sust syringe? I think they are pulling your leg.

I have over 2 dozen friends that will disagree with you on this. Based on anonymous tips this is the first thing feds will do to acquire a legit search warrant. Even cryptic cycle's wriiten on scratch paper is enough ex. a burger king receipt with 35 mgs Dianabol - methandrostenolone - wk. 300 mgs Test testosterone propionate EOD wks 1-10, etc written on the back may be enough to get a search warrant and will be evidence used against you in court.

In addition, the non roid related visit was likely roid related. It's not like they're going to tell you of there intentions of building a strong case against you. In fact, they will usually make up some bullshit reason like that just to confirm your identity face to face-or maybe even feell your personality out to see how easy it will be to get you to cooperate after they bust you. Based on the 411 given, my guess is that there's a large scale investigation going on and you are just another lead they're following up on. If the cops were to show up with a warrant today, you're probably fucked no matter what. This means they already have some usable evidence against you that they can(and will) arrest you for. Of course once they search your crib and find AS or other contraband this will lead to more charges-making their case against you even stronger. Don't listen to these retards that like to think cops/feds have better shit to do. Guys that act so care free are always the ones most likely to get popped. Then they cry "Why me?" after it happens. I've been around the AS scene for over 22 years and I know around 100 guys that have been busted for AS sale/possession. If you wanna listen to one of these "experienced" guys that think you are too low on the totem pole to be bothered with by the feds you deserve whatever it is that you get.

My advice to you is move and keep your stash at a trusted friend's house that isn't involved in any illegal activities. Moving and securing your stash elsewhere will not prevent you from getting arrested if they already have something on you. In most states cops can wait around 3 yrs to arrest you for a felony if they want-but in most cases they get you within 1-3 months. However moving and securing your stash away from your crib may keep you from getting additional possession charges that your asshole roomates could be subpoened to testify against you for. If that happens you'll really be fucked

If you do get arrested, all that I can say is do not believe a word the cops say. They lie!!! They will act as if you're just some poor guy that made a mistake and offer to "help" you with your problem. They will say cooperate with us so we can "help" you-which actually means help them create a stronger case against you in court so you will get the max sentence while minimizing any chances of getting a plea bargain that you can live with. If you get arrested, don't cooperate. Don't worry if they get pissed. They will. It's part of their training to coerce a confession out of you with intimidation and threats of a life behind bars getting assraped daily by Bubba and co. Ask for an attorney and deny everything. Admit to nothing-even if they find 100 bottles of test in your sock drawer next to a pic of your ex girlfriend-say it aint yours, you've never seen it before, etc. Since you are a broke ass, not cooperating is a must because your court appointed lawyer will suck. Nothing you can say or do will help you after arrested. Lawyer up-and don't say a word. It's your best bet.

And then there is the possibility that all of this is a coincidence??? If so, move and be more careful about who you air out your dirty laundry to in the future.

This 411 is worth literally 1000's of dollars in attorney fees/court fines and emotional grief-not to mention it will minimize the likeliness of getting jail time-too bad most guys bitch up, squeal, and cooperate as soon as the cops slap the cuffs on. Thanks bro, ive spoken with some creditable sources also and I agree 110% with you about not cooperating with LE , ive been there done that and won so to speak. Lawyered up and was good. Apparently my roommate said the Landlord said they were looking for "packages from outside of the country" which I can't recall the last time ive ordered from outside the country, I do NOT keep any written records of any sorts no code words nothing. Harddrives and even things such as HCG have been completely erradicated and disposed of. I havent been on cycle in over a month now and since there would be nothing recent in my trash. I will move on and move out , sucks but has to be done. I do however work with a firm who has direct ties to FBI and such and it could be there just "keeping tabs" on me. As they have done before, *its part of the job* With the confidential invidiaul i spoke with he states that its not in FBI procedure to search trash without a warrant if its in a private driveway, unless its on the public road. I am on probation now and just trying to clear every angle. I am questioning if my guy is safe... but do not want to contact him. Is it possible that they will try to find stuff and leave once they see that there is nothing to find? I am not a big fish nor a little fish I am pretty much algae in the world of AS and questioning why this would come to be? I'll keep you guys updated on the situation... Some suggesteed I contact the local pd/state police and ask them why they were sifting through my trash and if there is anything I can help them with. I also find it really weird that they would even question my landlord and the tenants below me "about me" and nobody can provide names of officers or any supporting facts.

You're right about the trash. You didn't specify where the trash was. I assumed it was put out in front of the house to be picked up-once it's roadside it's fair game for search by LE. It's also legal to search a dumpster at any time if you live in an apartment/community where trash is disposed of by residential tenants. Glad you're familiar with the lawyering up thing. And no need to call local pd and questioning your trash being searched. You aren't going to get any answers. My old biz office was located in the hood. A nice looking Escalade was parked in my parking lot with the rear window rolled 1/4 way down for 3-4 days. I called pd and gave them the plate. They said it wasn't on record and said it wouldn't be necessary to send out a cop to investigate. Two days later it was gone. That night on the news there was a video of two guys in an escalade getting arrested. The escalade was a police bait car that basically is gps controled. Once the car is breeched, it activates an alarm at the police station and a hidden video camera in the dash records the thieves every move. After the thieves drive away, they are locked inside until the police catch up and decide to shut down the engine remotely. Anyway, the point I'm making is that they didn't tell me the Escalade was a bait vehicle when I'm sure the plate on record showed that it was. They probably leave the window down so thieves don't need to damage the vehicle to enter???

yes, the feds DO go through trash. Once trash is placed outside you have no right to it and they don't need a warrant. It is actually a common practice.

Listen to bigcracker and twoguns, I had problems because a pizza receipt had my first name and phone number under my name on it mixed in with other parapheneilia, never throw "bad trash" at home, and it is the first thing LE will go to for establishing probable cause besides a CI, because people are idiots and it is so easy. Also like they stated above LE will try to meet you face to face to "size you up" see how you handle yourself, and get a good look especially to distinguish among many young men where you live. Not sure but for personal knowledge they may have wanted to see if your jacked up, best advice is already given MOVE ASAP and tell none of your untrustworthy friends anything.
