How much Test is too much?

Yes I know very subjective question. I’ve been on TRT for a year and a half now. Ended up at 200 Mg per week. Two months ago I started a cycle of Deca and increased my Test to 300 per week at 200 on the Deca. I’ve got a great Doc that is walking me through this. Just before starting we reviewed my bloodwork, test was around 900 but Hematocrit was it 54. He had a moment of pause and said we need to monitor this you may need to dump blood. All the other numbers look good. Six weeks into the cycle I did bloodwork again. My total test was 1980 and my free test was 860. My Hematocrit risen to 58. I went and dumped a pint of blood first part of this week. I’m thinking next week I’ll get a panel run again. Go back to my question, how much Test is too much and with zero noticeable side effects how worried about the Hematocrit number do you get? n2guard, i’ve been seeing it mentioned a lot is it been successful for y’all lowering the Hematocrit number?

Thanks

How much cardio do you do, how much water do you consume on a daily basis and how hydrated were you before your blood test?

Regular cardio as well as staying on top of hydration can reduce high hematocrit levels. Also, you want to drink atleast a litre of water pre-blood test to ensure a more accurate reading.

When it comes to your other question - it is entirely subjective and goal-based.
- If you’re looking for just health and longevity, then anything above TRT is too much Testosterone.
- if you’re looking to just put on a little bit of muscle and look fit, then anything above TRT is too much testosterone.
- for bodybuilding or powerlifting; I believe it depends on how much muscle you already have and then whatever your body can safely handle from that point on, based on bloodwork and a healthy/clean diet.

I'm gonna tell you this: any amount of testosterone above what your body would normally produce in a normal situation is going to thicken up your blood. People are delusional who think otherwise.

Bros, I would say that if your numbers are elevated, that is a red flag. The number is too high. Long term you don't want to keep things elevated for too long.
