the 2nd time around, other than a few tips at Jr Nats from Kendra & Michael Elias, nope.. I didnt even practice. Posin gin the mirror after a set doesnt count IMO, since it is what 2 seconds lol... Just went out there and did what felt natural as best I can...

I do know it needs work though...
 
Well, newbie like me can't tell..Seriously. From attending shows and reading all the coverage in the mags and everything, you can ALWAYS pick out the one (at least) gal whose posing SUCKS. You really killed it. MWAH. :heart:

well, Ive been busy at work, not posting much at all, ANYWHERE...
I suppose I am trying to find maintenance with my current goals and/or undertakings.... I guess Im just trying to figure things out right now.

Not much else to report so Ive been quiet. Trying to work out some kinks... explain more later.

Hi everyone... I miss you all... so ... much...
Just nailing down my next training plan ... been waiting and it's time to make a decision so I will be starting that tonight.
I have fit in many things I thought I didnt have time for but hey, I must do it... so Ive been training two people on the side which I cannot believe I love and they listen to every thing I say... I am shocked the eagerness to learn... and listen ...
one more girl added next week as well, to show the ropes...
I need to take speech, looking up times to get that done for Fall.
Still plan to kick @$$ at the Oct 6th show.. see if I can get that settled and a few days off...

Was asked to work a booth at the O, all expenses paid etc... could be fun and worthwhile , waiting to hear on that, not set in stone...

Health, had a mini scare but Im all good... a high reading on one of my test ranges could have indicated the presence on lymphoma but I am cured and the test needs to recognize that already, sheesh... Doc 2 confirmed things are progressing and t keep a close eye out.. as I have been... I may get a PET scan in the future, going to give it a few weeks. A few other things are 'off' but I am working on finding out why, and I WILL find out why... NO WORRIES and only positive vibes and thoughts ok?!?!

Goal was to increase bi's a bit, tris are pretty insane so work on the 'Sassy Peak' ... that would mean cals = increase to counter increased LMB, which is up 2 more lbs since last show... as well as bodyfat... I am still under 10 which Im proud of, but trying to refeed and get some foods back in Ive left out to balance me out.

I went out and wow did I drink Friday night, apparently was a dancing queen, a pool shark and had a friggin blast.. i WILL do more of that in the upcoming weekends for sure... we'll see how that fits with comp training but one day a weekend I will have for me... food drink, friends, 'special' friends. lol... It's great, trying to stay positive and happy amongst the madness ...

At my gym they finally did that member spotlight feature on me, which has gotten a huge response.. filled with pics from my last show, my befores pics, and basic info about how I go to where I did and what I battled... and why I DO what I do.. Ill try to get a picture of it... It's AWESOME and I am so proud to help motivate people and inspire them... the outpouring feedback has been awesome... I cannot believe how may people thanked me for sharing my story... wow. it's awesome. And to hear it on here, or on PM or email... now face to face it's OUT there... I WILL make this a part of my life somehow, I WILL.

Few minor things in the works here and there ... Ill let you know when I KNOW for SURE... nothing more to say about that right now...

Hey girl. Wow you've been through so much and earning just rewards & accolades all the way! I know the challenges of coming down from a show and then ramping back up to one 2-3 months later - not easy. And a few "interesting opportunities" along the way too.

How are you handling that? And what's the plan?

I know you wanted to get back some of that upper body mass that goes w/ pretty much all women w/ cutting -- particular goals for yourself, new diet / training approach? I'm sure you are employing that powerful mental visualization of yours - but any particular change in focus or thought process to not just keep going w/ the cut (since March no less!) and then take that next step that a national qualifying competitor takes?

Im not editing my posts or re calculating anything... no time... Last night I had extra servings of veggies b/c I am always always starving, esp when cals are under 2K, it's bizarre and quite annoying.

There were some of the most wicked lightening storms here yesterday, for those that watch the news I m sure some may have heard about it, pretty intense.

My lymphs in my throat still swollen , it's been a few weeks now and still nothing came up in the my bloodwork, or red flags, so I just dont get it. No ranges specifically out of whack showing infection from before and I was told not to worry etc... I guess I just feel something is off and it's hard getting a doc to listen to me
/subject ended...

My speech professor is awesome, AWESOME. Young guy, very VERY enthusiastic and is more like someone I hang out with. He will be one of the best teachers I will ever have, yes I am sure I can say that already.

He grades on a curve and gives very hard tests but oh well, I will finish and get my degree come dec.

Today will be a complete off day from everything. Slept in, ate a HUGE breakfast (yay for whole grain waffles & SF syrup) and going to Zanies tonight for a show. (Comedy Club for those that don't know Chicago) ...

Wedding sat. which I do not have a dress for. It's outside in a tent so I have no clue what Im going to wear, and if Ill be walking on grass my heels will sink into the ground? *sigh* ...

...dresses... as if I have time to go shopping lol....

All for now, have to get to work...

I am keeping you in my thoughts. I know that has to be scary. I can't even imagine. I hope you feel better! You got this thing beat already so I think this is just another test of your strong will. Don't let anything get you down!

On the way home, going back to my place the lightening was wicked again. I swear this is straight out of ‘Independence Day’ ish, I am waiting for the sky to open up and aliens to come down and start taking over the world. About 1 minute away from my place and 100 feet from my car a bolt I am pretty sure stuck the ground, and I felt it, the energy it was pretty strange and I was kinda in shock for a second, b/c it was close. SO I turned my butt around and went to the boys house to hang there for a while.. in the basement. Those who are flooded and the many who lost power and had to flee their homes are whom I am praying for and my thoughts going out to today. Today is suppose to be the last round of this severe weather, clearing up by later tonight hopefully so sent some ++++ their way. Anywho… hoping to get to stop by mall today get dress, hit gym, then finish misc errands. Have a wonderful weekend if I forget to tell ya! Food is totally tentative, just posting this to get it up….

Im not going to list what Im doing for training since at this point I can have specific plan to follow. My goals if you can call them that are very different right now, so I guess if am trying to get into the gym with my schedule. It has been very difficult.

I also cannot be on EF at all during the day at work. Sorry I have not been able to reply & check messages, Ive just decided to take a break from a lot of things.

Sorry to hear about the show, but I know you have your reasons, and know what you are doing. Shame we just don't get pics of you on stage again sooner!!!!!! Have to wait, I guess. Mun I am really not too concerned... I just wanted to put it out there that I didnt succumb to the usual post show blow up. While I do admit my diet NEEDS to tighten it is obvious the conditioning and the supps I use help me greatly keep the bf down.

My training is OFF right now hardcore. I cannot focus, concentrate and can def. feel some major imbalances I am getting 90 min deep tissue tomorrow to alleviate SOME of the stress built up in my neck.

Those are my current goals since they are all local and wont require much time off work.

I eat Bison like its going out of style these days.. Hormel I use in a rush, pretty $$$, they are better than the tyson as far as processing but still, processed. Look at the recipe thread there are several options Im sure. Or maybe the southbeach diet cookbook? I can handle plain and boring so I never have a problem ;)

Have you tried salmon with dijon mustard? You simply coat it and put it in the oven, if you grill it it would be almost heaven..BUT your house would stink like salmon for days...
