Ummm yeah dad decided to take some videos... and so far I only have 1 back picture of Bunz from the evening show. I don't have the videos yet. Don't ask me why he did...

The girl in the cranberry suit two places to her left took first. The other girl who took second has been on the stage for the past 5-6 years' so she is known. She has worked REALLY hard on her body and presentation. When I first saw her she was huge on stage. She has just come a long ways.
The girl in the cranberry just by looks of the picture has more definition in her body which may mean lower body fat or not holding as much water. From what Bunz said she wasn't a very nice girl back stage. Some of her posing was BLEH I think in one of the other pictures I posted she is on there and her pose looks bad. Anyway from what I heard from one of the guys who did not judge the show but will be juudging Junior Nationals is that she wasn't dark enough on stage, her upper traps were needing to come down a bit, and more lower body definition. She did have more quad defintion in the evening show. In the morning show they had her twirl around about 3 times and her conditioning I think is what was her issue of trying to keep everything tight and she said everything was just shaking. Not that she was nervous but just the muscles contracting made her that way. I spoke with Melissa and Sharon (2 of the judges) today and they stated similar. One thing they did mention though was they thought she was a bit over confident in her mannerisms which came off as cocky. I'm not a judge just relaying what I was told.

I still think she did great :kiss:
 
My guess is Bunny was holding some water in the back of her legs mostly likely do to that long drive. She looks great though I am totally in love with her tiny little waist and what an amazing delt cap.
 
That photo is pretty telling - I'm not sure who is the #2 girl? The one on the far right? There was one who had more sweep going in general but not sure which from this angle. From any of the pix I coudlnt' see that girl's posing so much but I did note her physique as more fitness-ish. But if this is her on the right, her posing is horrendous. The other two are non-mentions. I think you are looking at people w/ different body types in general between the girl on the left & Bunny - Buns cuts up nice on top but her legs are just big & solid - this girl on the left has a smaller build in general I think. The girl on the left does not scream "ATHLETE" at me. I also think this particular shot they all look a little cramped in which will make the pose look a little more contorted.

But at any rate - still the point of a first show is to just do it & see what's what - both in 'how you do a show', how you prepare yourself, your mental state, your attitude & presentation, and just throwing it out there to see how people (particularly the judges) respond. As you said about the one girl who has been up there for 5 or 6 yrs - there are plenty of competitors who have put in their time and honed their presentation as well as their networking so maybe even if they aren't the best on stage, they have 'earned' placing by coming up thru the ranks w/ memorable improvements. This also goes to having a longer view of competition if you are interested in doing more than just one for shits & grins - get to know the judges, learn from the experience and acknowledge them in future competitions or at events you may be attending as audience - if you want to execute "in the industry" you are completely dependent upon those who make up "the industry" (the judges, the major sponsors, e.g. Jan Tana, the Bob Chicarillos of the world, etc.) - it is still a business if you want to grow and be a presence in it.

Bunnyluv looks so beautiful. I think her back looked amazing. I can't see that her color was too light from the photos...she looks to be the same color as the girls she's standing next to.

AS I shovel down my oats for Meal 1 I will try to type up some randoms thoughts as they pop in my head, in no particular order... lol

Drive home was good considering it was torrential down pour half of the way, barely visible. I followed my parents the whole way so it was good & in case something happened they would be there... When i got my oil change the week before I left it was found I needed something fixed on my car but it would be ok to drive, just get it looked at as soon as I got back... now it's making lovely noises .. SO hoping to get that taken care of .

The Protan was FUNNY... I always looked much better after application with the definition. Shan & Tray have seen very intimate parts of my body.. that's trust and not sexual... but if we had it on vid I think we'd be a little richer Both of you, thank you SO MUCH I cannot express more than I already have my gratitude.

Arriving at the theater before morning judging.. I kept to myself I didnt make eye contact or scope out the competition to 'see what I was up against... ' Tray got us a room on the 1st floor, i.e. no walking up & down stairs in those heels lol... thank you girl! We had the same room for the evening show. Aside from Shan and I there were two other girls in there, the fitness girl who started off the show #1, it was her first so she was a bit nervous, and more of a vet in the short class and masters... girl had some delts. She kept saying how nice I was, I told her there is no reason for me NOT to be... HER to me "It's great to not have that caddiness or vindictive nature. That's abundant at these things...you are so nice, thank you..." and there we have it.

The "It stays" is glue you roll allover your tush & boobs or areas you need to stick your suit to so it wont move on stage... The girls again rolling that on and sticking me in... thank you ...

The curling irons lol.. well I go to turn them off and grabbed the wrong end, right before we went on at the night show... needless to say my left side didnt pump up as well b/c all the blood rushing to my finger tips to blister.... OUCH.... I sat on the chair with my feet up until the very last minute and that could account for me coming in leaner for the night show, as well as me bring off my feet all day. Shan was nice enough to share her bands to get some upper body ownage going...

There were some VERY nice ladies, and a few not so nice. Ill just leave it at that.

I had at least 50 different compliments on my suit, and I think it blew alot of the girls away, meaning the site of it ... Sylvia couldnt be more happy with the way I represented it... her words & email were too kind, she told me to look into FAME and other types of orgs that she thinks I will do well in... we'll see... but she is my suit girl... hands down, Im a lifer for her. I was asked to take some pics with some 'fans' which was pretty cool.. and the compliments felt awesome and I was very surprised and grateful people took the time to comment, compliment and just stop to tell me what they thought. All of you out there, thank you so much for doing that, you will never read this Im sure but wow you made my day even BETTER... is that possible?!?! lol

My father told me he was so proud , so proud, he couldn't stop smiling and was afraid to cheer.. my mom told him not to b/c she thought he'd embarrass me. I told him yell all you want... That is what really helped and to hear Tray really helped... My dad has not said those things to me in years.. I could have cried at any moment but I was too happy to see him smiling and they were in the front row of the night show... I looked down and wow... I did it and there they were SO PROUD ... Im tearing up thinking about it...

I love false eyelashes.. I want to wear them all the time...

If you all didnt know I asked Shadow last year if he'd be interested in working with me for a show.. things finally came together and when I started this log (in Feb) is pretty much when we started... the sprints... I did his project thread when i first came to EF so he is pretty familar with what Ive been through, has seen my progression, what my body can do, exceeding even his expectations, and that is always a bonus,let me tell you.

He is basically a mentor to me and I kept in contact with him via phone, text and with the help of shan snapping pics after every protan, loofah, rinse session so we can to a step by step, coat by coat analysis... Ilk gave me some great makeup tips, laid out some colors and I went to Mac to have Tony my makeup guy show me show to do it.. and I nailed it IMO. I was so happy with my makeup, I am NOT even kidding. Tray is the eye lash pro, did a few touch ups and ta-da, I was just rawkin' the lashes... again, I want them on all the time, I LOVE THEM hahahaha ... my dad noticed them from the audience b/c he's used to seeing blonde & light everything... not dark, black, ect... my eyes popped for sure.
So anyway, Ilk & Seth you are a great team thank you for your patience, support, efforts and positive attitude the ENTIRE time, I am grateful.

After the show we went to outback.. ended up being us three + my parents. I had a center cut sirloin and a glass of cab, sweet potato plain and some veggies... oh and a few pieces of bread they put out... YUMMY. I started with this blue cheese cinn crusted walnut or peacn (i forget) salad... I wanted to lick the bowl.. lol

After that we met up with CG, Monster, joeyp, Iron Buddah et al at Bahama breeze... I stuck to the vodka rocks, tiny splash cran with a lemon and water. I enjoyed watching cg eat his cheesecake... YUM-ME lol...

Went home, took my face off, crashed, up to shower, repack my wardrobe and off I went.

I went to the gym last night to clear my head, did some step mill cardio, & trained legs. I was 154 around the late afternoon when I got home. I wanted to see how the post show meal and carbs I had in the car on the way home (my chicken sweet potatoes and green beans pre made... yes, COLD, just like the way to MI ... lol, nothing BAD, sorry to disappoint) , this a.m. I was back to 151.8 lbs, my weight the day before the show... INTERESTING Ive never been this low. A lady at the gym told me I was getting too skinny... pshaw... I smiled and showed them a few pics to show her just how skinny I am not.

This am Went to gym, did some light cardio and calves and just ate an omelet, big apple, and oats.. YUM... I am FULL

I just typed up a bunch of stuff about what is going on here and deleted it... no need to post unnecessary negativity at this time. I have a lot of thinking to do and a lot of decisions to make. I just want to again thank you all for your love and support through this and more.

Be proud of yourself. What you have accomplished is nothing short of a miracle. I know how hard this has been, but you came through and held your own in an uneven playing field.

I must say it wasnt so must nastiness, just people really dont realize how much they complain or throw off negative energy... just by unpleasant things discussed, I really am very senstive to that, I pick up on it and now can finally turn it OFF... and let them be and me in my own little world. It's pretty awesome, took me a while and its a daily battle but more recognizable these days.

nastiness was more refering to some of the ladies on competition. I was lucky enough to compete with a bunch of really, really nice women - only 1 who I wanted to punch in the face. :D

I meant every word that I wrote. I hope you continue to compete, because you've got what it takes.
 
...plus - melanotan is not "performance enhancing" - it doesn't build muscle or cut fat, or give you any edge on stage what so ever besides making fewer trips to the tanning bed. lol

Until they specifically list it (it's a peptide, btw), you can take it.

Summer courses are out ... starting next week SO and I cannot swing it this go round. Fall may be too pending financial situation, time frame, goals, etc... $$ is due in like 2 weeks so it's not like I can put any of this off...

Natural Michigan Drug Tested Figure Show @ Redford Theater (same venue in Detroit) on July 14th 2007. When I went to see Treil last July I closed a deal (renewal business) the day prior and caught her show that weekend... so there is a chance I can two birds/one stone this for me this year. I would like to see if Treil & Sbt can help with tan/hair/lashes if they can fit me in, my boss said if I can close it and work my account into it it's doable... so I have some planning to do and some other people to talk to about this.

As I have said before, you are a winner for simply stepping on the stage. That takes courage, dedication and perseverance. Congrats.

As for any of the negativity - FUCK 'EM. You don't need it, ain't worth your time. ;)

I don't know why you're worried about the face; you still look beautiful. I know what you mean though- one thing I love about being cut is having a thinner face.
Your progress is absolutely amazing! 14 weeks! That's crazy.

I didnt bring my notebook last night but did some cardio, 10 min warm up step mill, finished shoulders and did some bi's and calves... The hottub... :) then had a bit of a food fit with some PB and ON Casein frosting at about 130 am. lol ... my fit day was only 44p 19c 37f 1508 cals not including the salad I had for dinner....

But heck I woke up 147.0 and HARD.. here are a few pics...
