Hey everyone thank you for the support up in here!

Aside from lack of food and water, I didn't eat like crap when I was away on biz, also found a gym I was able to hit, that was like a sauna... lol

For the 1st time wore a shirt to kinda reveal more than I usually would... help me constantly keep my body tight I suppose...

The tread was old and had these little fans, as if that would keep me cool lol, I was dripping after the 1st 5-10 minutes lol :) Im sure people wondered why I can doing full incline sprints, the girl next to me kept looking at me like what are you doing?? (intervals suga, intervals)

Now, if you think I want any pity please stop reading now...

I have been trying to balance school, work and training, it finally caught up with me and I got a bit of a reality check ... I am not too happy about it. I cannot change the past, but I can do something to prevent it in the future, that is for sure. My #1 priority school was compromised and it affects me.. ALOT. And now, do what I can to get an F off my school record come Monday.

I felt a little jet blue'd last night/early this morning... My original flight (what would have been 1.5 hr flight @ 5:15 pm) turned into me getting home just before 3am...

A lesson was to be learned here so I dont have any regrets ... I can only be angry about it for so long b4 that negative energy needs to be squashed... I need to re access my priorities and listen to my initial gut reaction more than I have been.

SO, have a great weekend.. what's left of it and Ill be hopping around next week sometime Im sure....

Yes the lack of water has left me very dehydrated and dry itchy throat and dry mouth .. I was maybe only at 1 G... I did alot of driving and had places to go so stopping every 30 min was just not in the cards so had to make other arrangements... drove a charger for the 1st time, thought it was cool that the rental car places offer navigation these days but I opted to not pay for the additional service ... next time I will since the directions I had were incorrect... also I will remember the upgrade wasn't free after all, boss will love that bill, but doesn't matter, half of all my travel expenses come out of my check... all Ill say about that.

That was just a very long day... I probably drove 5.5-6 hours before the airport festivities ... and I was at about a '1' after all was said and done... and seriously now, Excuse me professor, "I missed your class b/c I just got in a few hours before your 8 hour class started from a business trip... the airplane had an instrument malfunction and couldn't land in Chicago ... the Radar altimeter, that thing that allows the pilot to land without visibility was compromised so, we flew to indy to find a plane that worked...."

I totally feel you on the balancing school, work, and training thing (even though I'm not training for a comp or anything). That's a big fear for me... I'm one to go full force on everything, then throw the towel in... on EVERYTHING! You seem to be balancing it very well, so you CAN'T screw up! Who else will I look towards for motivation? LOL! :D :heart:

Be proud of jungling all that you are, and just think you are still fine tuning your schedule and it will all come together, I am confident, why??? Cause I am confident in you! Look at all the other goals you have accomplished and this is going to be another great one to add to your list!

Well, I finally recvd my school email & password so I was allowed to sign on to the site and find the teachers email, so I email him and now I hope for the best. ;) Its too late to drop the class, if I get the instructor or deans permission I may be able to swing a W but I wont get any gpa pts for it, even if I retake it with an A... all options entertained at this point, in his hands.. we shall see...

ANYWHO, time to eat something, I am starving...

please take a moment to say a prayer for a man who lost his life today in a motorcycle accident... for his family, wife & children... as I didnt know him personally he is a very dear/good friend to my close friends... thank you in advance :rose:

Was it a v6, V8 hemi or srt8 V8 hemi charger? My wife and I have a bright green Srt8 Hemi Charger... a little over 420hp from the factory. After my wife went a lil nutty it's now at 550 plus hp. Scares me sometimes! You just step a little on the gas and it flys. It has way more torque than our Stang or Viper so the bastard is scary off the line! If it was a standard v6, I feel bad you didn't get a chance to experience the full potential that car has or get to see the cool interior the Hemi's have compared to the standard. Ok, I got a little too car happy when I saw the charger part, lol.

Bunny my wife was going through the same feelings you are right now. Between getting married so young, school, family/friends, life and work she started to feel down on some things. I told her to cut out all the negative or anything that wasn't helping her to move forward, which we did piece by piece, one by one. But the first and most important step was not feeling guilty about doing what one needs to do to survive, get to that next level in life and not let anything negative come into your life that could possibly get in your way or bring you down (*anything* negative is capable of that).

You are a super strong woman. I'm not talking about lifting weights or any of that. But just look back.. from the small part of your life you've been open enough to share with us all here on Elite, anyone can clearly see you are not someone who just lays down and takes life's crap, no matter what is thrown your way.

Don't worry about the school thing. I know that sounds easier said than done but the last thing you and your immune system need right now is stress. All will come together in time, I promise and I'm sure all the other people who really, truly believe in you in this thread will agree and make that same promise to you. My wife has a lot of issues she had to overcome and that's her story to tell if she chooses. If you ever need to talk to anyone, we are always here for you. I know we only exchange the occasional pm, karma messages, posts, etc. But my wife and I know what it's like to be going through a fraction of what you've been. You know her user name, I'm sure, lol.

It's weird where you make friends. I came on here 6 years ago looking to learn. Then I ended up meeting a few people I truly care about. Not many but people like Omega, Rotten Willow and yourself. :) Don't ever feel shy or be a stranger. If you'd rather talk to a woman, PM, IM, phone call whatever, my wife is great person and friend. She wanted to PM or send you a post now but she is just getting ready for work. Just know there's a lot of love and support for you out here Bunny. Both in this thread of yours and I'm sure in the real world too. :heart:
 
C3 it was a rental car... I wish it was a hemi, the standard has ZERO pickup IMO. You and your wife are very sweet. Ill have to let that all digest, it has been a rough day.. better day tomorrow ... :rose:

The standard is a turd, lol. It's way too big of a car for a v6. Even the standard hemi is 'mild' for it. And the hemi is a huge engine! The Srt8 hemi is the only way to go with that car. Next year they are putting out a two door Hemi Challenger, which looks just like the original from the 70's. It will have 505hp stock! I must sound like a little kid in a toystore talking about this stuff, lol. I just get carried away sometimes. :worried:

My bro had one from the 70's Gold, the thing was a beast and very easy to speed in with a broken speedometer... he had that and a newport where you could fit a bed in the trunk, hilarious. He and my father both have hemi's, the trucks, settle for nothing less. I need more power under the hood myself...

it is very hard to train for a comp without a certain level pf support, I am noticing... working on changing this to suit me and my goals.. how, not sure yet... but trying to pick myself back up is hard.

Hey badge thanks for dropping in girl! Legs went down 2 inches I think, Ill have to remeasure for my suit anyway, thanks for reminding me.. they are way swollen right now from my deep tissue and the last two days of mission: murder leg cardio lol :)

HR monitor on wrist and on tread showed that I was around 175 - 180 first few sprints, then up to 186 for remaining… The recovery didn’t get it down to 160 b4 I started again so I busted through ‘em & hoped for the best. I didn’t hurl *thanks the treadmill goddess* and burned 400 cals @ the 20 min mark with my sprints alone… the remaining 15-20 minutes cooldown, incline walking, a little running to get to 600 cals mark, then I did my calves… walked pups about 15 minutes when I got home to keep the blood in my legs flowing. Boss & his wifey are back from 3 week vaca in Mexico SO that means I am not ignoring you, just pretty busy ….

You could increase the interval or "work harder"....try both at various times

I totally... kicked my @$$ this morning and did 30 min. of sprint intervals ... that and the mini warm up (10 min) burned 545 cals ... I wear the HR straps + watches they give you and if you use it with the right tread it will sync to the machine, but this one was a bit off today ... at one pt it was at 175 but the machine said 145.. it caught up eventually. Anyway, I feel bad for the lady next to me, lol, I was dripping and sounded like a rampaging elephant Im sure... 40 min mark - 545 cals burned at LEAST ..

To the best of my knowledge, my last record of BF% and LBM before I stopped heavy & basically all weight training (except very random stuff here & there in dec) was taken 11/15/06… At that time I was 25.44% bodyfat. With NO weight training, heavy if any aside from playing with the pink & purple DBs, since that date or shortly thereafter, I am UP 3.83 lbs … Muscle memory from not really HITTING the muscles? Who knows… I’m documenting it… I find it interesting these methods for tracking.. and yes sometimes I take it with a grain of salt.. :)

Current Progression for show using Feb 22, 07 as ‘start’ date
02.22.07 = 26.73 % bf
03.08.07 = 23.73 % bf
03.15.07 = 24.04 % bf
04.05.07 = 20.96 % bf ; since feb. start LMB +4.89 lbs, no weight training (no comment at this time but :spin: )

Based on what I know about my body... it will be VERY difficult to break 160's with all this muscle...it's obviously there somewhere.

I am guessing I will hit 11-12 % BF in low 160's, very least 158 with loss of LBM

11-12% is a good goal. You have the advantage of a height class rather than weight, anyway - so that number doesn't matter at all. It's really intersting to me how different people carry the same amount of BF differently. Some haver a nice even layer all over, while others store all 12% in their asses...like me. :D (ok - maybe not all of it, but at least 1/2. )

Which brings us back to how numbers can mess with your noggin - which is why I prefer the "how does my body look" method.

I cannot tell you how many people have said that to me last few months... not just random, about my comp prep... granted it does show you things are moving in the right direction but heck it went up one week, then back down lol :) whateva works, the pics & taped measurements were the improvement that week :) I'm a data :nerd: :D

I have to get updated mm's done for my suit. I need someone to do it for me, like a seamstress... there are a few I cannot do myself.

I ordered it last August when I was suppose to do the Nov 6th show :) Sylvia Tremblay, I met her at the Arnold, such a doll... 24k suggested and I bought...

I never said anything was wrong with black. The reply was in to TSO's comment "beautiful suits. You're going to be all sparkly, huh?"

It will be a very 'blingy' beautiful suit. And for those that think suits are distracting this one will probably annoy them as well...
