OKAY....THIS IS A REALLY GROSS, WHAT-A-THING-TO-ASK, TYPE OF QUESTION, but I need to ask.

When you first started your cutting diet, did you get alot of bad, horrid gas from all the protein you ate? Did it make you more regular? Just asking because.....please forgive me for this....I have horrid gas and it just started about a week ago and it could kill a horse. It is worse than my hubby's on his worse days. Just wondering if it was the diet or if I was extremely screwed up.

LOL!

Wait til Lobo gets back. I've seen him writing about this one. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only other person on here who's had the same experience as you when moving to a higher protein diet. And believe you me, I have.

Oh Girl!!!! The gas that I had put my husband to SHAME!!!!

It EVENTUALLY goes away...

"That was your father, sweetie....girls don't fart."

lots of protein shakes will do that.

get twin labs super enzymes, these are great digestive enzymes and help a lot!!

It got ugly when I was pre-comp -- thank god I was working w/ a personal trainer in a personal gym .. but on the other hand, there was no one else to blame when I left the room.... protein shakes & lots of broccoli gets *real* bad. I had to switch up my vegies every now and then -- green beans were an option. The broccoli & spinach really took its toll after a while.

For enzymes, you might consider going the juiced vegies route - it means using a few more of the non-optimal vegies (e.g. carrots, other stuff w/ higher sugar content) so you can choke down the stuff, but a couple carrots w/ a beet & a pile of wheat grass works!

You might also consider getting some ginger root (at your local nutrition store with the rest of the herbal stuff) to help deal w/ digestion of piles of protein.

Once I stopped eating eggs every morning and started taking licorice tablets it seemed to stop.

Glad to know it's happening to everyone.
