R. Kelly Walks: Jury Finds Him Not Guilty Of Child Pornography

Razorguns said:
This is a major problem with prosecuting crimes in black neighborhoods. Victims and witnesses don't want to come forward. They get paid off, or threatened.

Another reason why certain segments of society are where they are, cuz of their own stupid actions.

yep, agreed. the other thing is on the streets it's ingrained to them that you should never "snitch". there's a big difference between snitching on somebody and stopping a very violent criminal

lol I guess some people think having sex with a 13 year old is wrong (people like myself). Other people in America think otherwise. No wonder there are so many problems.

The should have confiscated all the children from R. Kelly's employees first in a Texas LDS-style raid.

Dunno, seems the state of NJ doesn't really seem to care about a man sleeping with his own 13 year old daughter, but since the victims of such heinous abuse rarely come forward - hell they rarely admit it to themselves EVER chances are the piece of shit will never do jail time.

Money or not, for some one so young to come forward and admit they were abused in such a fashion, especially when THEY KNOW untold other people have seen a tape of the act, you can't begin to understand the shame and humiliation that the victim feels. Regardless of how it was not their fault and THEY were the ones who were victimized they still remain silent. Sometimes for life.

Unless you have been fucked over by the American justice system you really have no idea how corrupt it is.

Ooh Lord , an R Kelly thread turns into a stereotype on black folks in general...

There nothing true about that statement
You cannot say that people coming forward with evidence moves across a racial line

Only a complete idiot would attempt to make such a comparison
Yees there are plenty of black snitches out there
I new for a fact you would be all up in this thread.

it's more a socioeconomic thing...but it's less common in the hispanic community than it is the black community as far as ghettos go. so race is involved to an extent

there have been many police chiefs, black leaders and pro athletes who have specifically mentioned this on many different occasions and its part of the reason why crime does not stop in these areas.

I fail to understand this mentality some black people have that when a person is clearly guilty or in the wrong and they get off, somehow it's justifiable or "a victory" for their people. Gjohnson, your comment about her not claiming to be on the tape is totally irrevelant. Her entire family identified her. It's her. Doesn't make Rkelly any less fucked up.
but of course if he's the same color "you have to have his back".

here or with OJ....makes no sense. Yes, there is a great deal of corruption in the justice system but that is a result of having or not having money. Has alot less to do with race.

The hypocricy of it all is that black people support each other in this fashion but when it comes to business they don't help each other out. I had a long conversation the other night with a black dude and how he never does business with other black people because they don't want to take care of each other and are not loyal.

Talk about backwards thinking
