question for people with pro wrestling experience

You'll learn to keep your chin tucked, so that will help prevent your head from snapping when you take a back bump.
You can bill yourself as 6'1" and 240lbs. You should prepare mentally for numerous busted noses, lips, and black eyes. Good Luck!

I agree with JS, you should be prepared physically and mentally.
Good luck on your wrestling interest!

I trained in Fl for a few years first under flex armstrong then under jason wheeler. The only advice I can give is work on your endurance and stamina! It looks easy on tv until you get in there and realize it is non stop steps, you will become winded very quick. A good trainer will teach you how to not get hurt and how not to hurt others, but accidents and assholes happen so be cautious and prepared!

I've been a wrestling trainer for 17 years. Endurance is key, especially during summer months. Look for a school or trainer that has experience, as well as ask who they trainer, and who trained them.
If you have any questions, feel free to IM me.
