question about shadow's plan

I bought one of these salad dressign decanters that has the ingredients & the measured amounts up the side like those drink mixer glasses. I do love vinegar but it's easy to make thes dressings!

Tomatoes are bad :worried: They are the highlight of my salad.
Well I only used about 5 grape tomatoes. I liked the baby spinach leaves. Never had em' b4. My boys( 5 & 7) wanted to try em' and THEY liked em'.
Jenscats; I am afraid to try to "make" my own dressing. I don't feel too confident on that. And I don't really enjoy the taste of vinegar.
But thanks so much anyhow. ;) I am def gonna try the cottage cheese with the tuna. That sounds palatable :p , with wheat crackers too of course.

Do you have a measuring spoon that measures 1 tablespoon?? Then you can make your own salad dressing! And Apple Cider/Red Wine/Balsamic Vinegars dont' have that vinegary taste that plain White Vinegar has.

If you prefer bottled -- try Newman's Own -- they have some quite tasty salad dressings....

Definitely the bottled for now anyway. I'm doing good to get dinner made...much less homeade dressing.
Which Newman dressing should I try?

I'm currently using 3 diff. ones -- Light Balsamic Viniagrette, Low Fat Red Wine Vinegar & Oil & Low Fat Sesame Ginger (all can also be used as a marinade -- the Sesame Ginger is great for salmon!! :p )

As for the dressing -- whatever you are comfortable with -- but the ingredients are stuff you should already have on hand, thus would only take about 2 seconds to make.... But once you get more comfortable then go for trying something new... :p

I don't want to use anything that has sugar added to it.
I looked for the sesame ginger at Meijer's yesterday when i was shopping. I remember someone posting about it and so i checked out the newman ones and that one was not there. :( They had like 4 -5 kinds I believe and i don't remember seeing Low Fat on any...but I was in a hurry.
I love chinese food and thought maybe the sesame ginger would remind me of it. :)
I will see what walmart has, next time I go.
