Question About Bloating

Hey,

Well this is my first real post, I have been reading posts for about 3 months now but havent asked a question till now. A little about me I am 26 yoa 6 feet 210 at about 8-10% BF. I have been training for about 5 years and have done 4 weeks of deca about 3 years ago thats it. I have been staying pretty lean for about 3 months now, moderate carbs and drop sets with cardio 3 times a week. I will be going on vacation in April so I am going to bulk for about 2 months or so then start leaning out for my vacation.

My problem is with my increase in carbs and calories I feel very bloated, I still have some of my abs but I am having a problem with water weight, which makes me feel heavy and sluggish. I have gained 5 pounds or so, I know this is water but that is the problem.

Is there anything I can do to help with the water weight?

I do not want to do cardio or cut back on carbs, I know I am eating more bread and pasta which I never ate before but I want all the nutrients I can to try and build a little muscle and prepare myself for my cutting phase. I might just have to deal with this but thought I would give it a try and ask.

I will be postin pics at the end of my bulking and then at the end of cutting cycles. I will be doing all of this natty.

Thanx

Is your sodium particularly high? I find that I hold a significant amount of water if I don't stay on top of sodium.

You might try cutting back on sodium and water for a few days....maintain carb levels and this might draw some of that subcutaneous water into the muscles. Worth a shot.

You can also try switching out the bread and pasta for less refined carbs like some sweet potatoes or oatmeal.

Ok will do, I know I have always had a problem with sodium. My body seems to react drastically to changes in my diet quickly. The plus side is I am strong as hell right now!

Thanx of the help!

I've personally never encounter bloating with high sodium intake

On the other hand some people feel bloatings with dairies

I think the answer might be I was carb depleted so I was holding no water. As soon as I introduced carbs back in my body I absorbed all the water I usually have been flushing out with cardio. I do feel heavy but that is a good thing, heavy weights here I come. I will only feel this way for about 2 months or so, I think I can handle it.
