Protein intake tuna?

theres no set number on how much protein can be obsorbed by the body in 1 sitting

While this may be technically true, protein needs to be broken down into amino acids for it to be of use. Protein is broken down by proteinases/proteases enzymes so when large sums of protein are ingested that require these enzymes a situation can arise where there is not ample enzyme available to break down the protein which means they can pass through the system without being properly broken down and in turn some of the nutrients wasted.

personally i dont think there is a limit your body can handle at a time if your body needs it...it will use it....what it don't need it will go to waste literally when you use the bathroom...i use to take 250 to 300 grams a protein a day and i did not build any more muscle than I do now with a diet of around 140 grams protein a day...by the way I weight 200 lbs 6"2
not quite sure but i think excess protein gets stored as fat if not used.

Agreed!!! the only time you can get away with intaking large amounts of protein is right after you train.
For an example 50 grams of whey then you have a 45min to 1 hr window to take in more protein which should be solid food,so within that 100 to 120 grams would be good....other then that 50 to 60 grams every 2 1//2 hrs.Give your system time to break down the protein.....

can't even imagine how bad gas you'd have from such high doses :o

im unaware of such a scenario where there arent enough enzymes, as protein NEEDs to be broken down by the body to be used for either energy use or protein synthesis, alwise it cannot pass through digestion

so i do not think available enzymes is the problem

i think more the rate the bodys able to synthesize protein is the main factor

this is exactly what Zyg said , the rate of ur body's ability to synthesize protein is affected by how much proteinases/proteases enzymes u have in ur system or u can create.

Hfc is poison and is processed much like alcohol. A lot of it actually gets converted by the liver directly into fat even though its classified as a carb.

HFCS is just a high ratio of fructose to glucose, it has the same effects as sucrose, and glucose. I am not aware of any publications or studies that prove the myth of it being poison. Any study out there instead uses high fructose diets to lead us to believe it causes diabetes, fatty liver disease, and heart complications. The same would be true if you ingested large quantities of any simple carbohydrate over a sustained period of time.
