First off man, if you're going to try and make any points with a scientific basis, provide us with a link, and learn to spell the word
scientifically.
We don't make progress without gear? How can you make such a stupid allegation? What do you mean by progress? How do you know I'm not making any? You do realize you don't need gear to make "progress", right? And what basic ideas? Why do you assume we follow basic ideas? And even if we did, haven't those methods been tried and true? Yeah. So, they will work.
You say you need to impose new stress in order to impose
new gains, yet after that statement you ask us if we've heard of HST. Well, I've read almost everything available on HST. The entire website, the forums, and talked with people who have done it before. So, yes, I've heard of it but...have you? If you really know anything about it, you'll know you don't need anything fancy by way of new stress. Maybe progressive loading, but you don't need to cycle calories or protein or anything of the sort. It doesn't even follow any sound principles of physiology.
"It's a very powerful way of stressing your body at the gym." <~~ Hahaha
You mean "too" revolutionary, right? Yeah well, it's not, considering I've done a cycle of HST before.
Keep with the basics: Check.
Take more and more gear: Can't take more if I haven't taken any in the first place.
Right & Smart: Yes I am.
