Protein/carbs or protein/fats with T3?

Vascular Freak

New member
I have been using T3 along with my cycle and was wondering if it is more effective to eat a high protein and complex carb diet with low fat or high protein and fat diet with low carbs?

I notice that when I eat carbs when I am using T3 my body temp goes through the roof. Wouldn't this mean my metabolism is speeding up and I could lose more fat by keeping carbs on the higher side (obviously from oats, brown rice etc and keeping overall caloric intake under control)?????

I've noticed the same thing...but i wouldnt go consuming to many carbs either...high protien, moderate carbs low fat is a good way to go..

T3 will flatten you out even if you eat a lot of carbs. How many carbs one consumes while employing T3 depends on one's goals. If you are dieting then eat a high protein, mod fat, low carb diet. If you are bulking would go with an iso cal diet where the carbs are higher and the protein and fat are lower than when dieting.

It's best to keep a moderate low-gi carb intake. It helps the natural T4->T3 conversion in the liver and aids in keeping your leptin levels in check.

Mak, I have noticed that I flatten out real easy of I don't keep my calories up a bit. I am curious to see how T3 would work on a clean bulk cycle since it seems that you can basically eat a ton of clean calories and gain nothing but muscle. Right now I will era on the side of a negative caloric intake as I am mainly trying to drop every last bit of fat.

The thermogenic effect definetly seems noticeable when I keep my carbs moderate 150-185 grams or so as opposed to 75-90 grams. I mainly eat raw oats and sweet potatoes so the gi levels are extremely low anyhow.

However bro that wouldn't matter when you're taking T3. It does matter if you are not so good point.

It works well during clean bulking cycles, but you have to make sure you are eating enough cals. If you naturally don't gain fat easy then I don't recommend T3 during bulking as you will need to eat more when taking it to gain the same amount as when you are not.

For dieting you are going to be flat. You just have to deal with it.

Mak, do you come completely off for long periods of times or what? You look phenomanal bro, what does a typical cycle look like for you?
